Dr. Kane called night before surgery. Reviewed my medical history. Things went fine. Next day at surgery he insisted that I remove insulin pump. After discussing the night before. Devil's in the details I suppose. Also after surgery I had a fat lip from the tube he puts in your mouth. This was 9th. Surgery for me never had a fat lip before. As far as the drugs used they were fine.

Calm and collected, Dr Kane reviewed my medical history and went over the various options available for the anesthetic plan. Following discussion of the details, I went with his suggested plan. Smooth and uneventful, I was comfortable throughout the surgery. After an appropriate time in the recovery area I was discharged home. I never had any nausea not any other anesthetic related problem.

Dr. Kane took a phone call about a charity event while he was connecting my line. He actually was leaning over my head while talking on the phone.

Dr Kane is a good listener and has tremendous skill. This is the first general anesthetic out of 8 surgeries over the years where i did not wake up with nausea and vomiting.
