Dr. Evankovich was recommended to me by a friend. I decided to switch to him, and I am so glad I did. He is not only a highly skilled urologist, but I would consider him a friend as well. He is down to earth, caring and treats you as if you were his only patient. If there were 10 star ratings, I would give him more than a 4. Thanks for your care, Dr. Evankovich.
I went to the ER with abdominal pain. They were expecting kidney stones but ended up with early detection of kidney cancer. I was given three choices. I opted for the less invasive cryogenic (freezing) surgery which has proven to be successful since it was done in 2006.Post surgery pain was more painful than I expected. I'm sure that wasn't due to the doctor's incompetence. Its 2012 and I'm about to go in for my yearly cat scan. I found Michael to be personable, direct and down to earth. He used some language that some would consider inappropriate. I don't find him offensive. He strikes me more to be a regular guy. He lacks arrogance, a rare quality in a doctor. Jeff McClay
I was diagnosed with a mass on my kidney, saw Dr E on 4/18. Usually his schedule is packed and I was looking at around Memorial Day for surgery. He got me in the OR on 4/26. I'm recovering nicely, It WAS cancer which is why I suspect Dr E got me in so fast. He's funny, down to earth, easy to talk to and answers all questions! I'd recommend him to anyone!! He's awesome!!!
Very clear and to the point. No candy coating here. He was just right, I would rather not have to cut through any coating to figure out what I need to know.Black and White as best as it can be in medician!
He performed a prostate biopsy on me in 2006, which was clean. He felt I needed a more recent biopsy, so we did one in late August of this year. He was right. I'd developed prostate cancer that was malignant and aggressive. He removed my prostate on November 22; the cancer was contained; and, for now, I am cancer free. Future checkups begin in January. Thanks, Doc!
Doctor spends too much time telling jokes than caring for the patient
I came to Doctor Evankovich in poor health. Both he and his entire staff treated me courteously and efficiently.I had excellent care. I highly recommend this office and staff. Our family has a hereditary condition that I have lived with for 48 years, it is generational. This is an informed group this is polite and concientious that has cutting edge technology behind its expertise. They care about their patients.
During my few visits for kidney stones, vasectomy and other issues I was impressed by his candor and diagnosis accuracy. He is very straight forward (which I like). However if you want it sugar coated you may think he is rough.
Dr E. is very caring and personable. He explains and answers questions in a way that I can understand and he takes his time to make sure you understand. He is just an all around nice guy and I do not hesitate to reccommend him to anyone. I'm 68 yrs old and he is the best doctor I have ever had.
Dr.E. IS A VERY CARING AND GENEROUS PERSON. he explains everything in everyday people language so that you do not leave with unanswered questions. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to him. He gets things done.
