Dr. Michael Gray Feely, MD

I have needed information regarding medicines or illness a couple of times. His nurse will say she will get right back to me and then I have waited as long as three weeks to get the information I need! Dr. Feely is a good dr but the needed information turnaround is horrible.

I’ve been suffering from ongoing, worsening symptoms for about 3 years. Everything from severe fatigue, to bad leg/hip/joint pain affecting my ability to walk, to losing tons of hair and having patches balding. I was finally referred to Dr. Feely after symptoms had worsened and grown in number, after my doctor and I discussed it being an autoimmune disease. I have several other people in my family with lupus with the same symptoms, so I hoped to be tested. But he didn’t test me for lupus. And told me that since I’m a mother, it must be from being a tired parent. And not an actual illness. Keep in mind, I’m 26. At 26 I shouldn’t be balding and having trouble walking, or getting rashes on my joints. He dismissed everything I said, interrupted me often, to not even test me in the first place even though several members of my family have Lupus. But to be so degrading as to belittle my symptoms down to “parenting” is the most ignorant thing I’ve ever heard.

One of the best Dr's I have had. He takes a look at the whole picture of your medical history - not just what he diagnosed - and will help accordingly to bring all ease to the patient. I have followed him from one clinic to another and will continue to follow him thoughout my care.
