I felt at ease with Dr. Porter. He was clear what to expect from the surgery and post operative care and expectations. While the initial and follow up visits were not long, they were efficient which I appreciated.

Dr Porter performed unnecessary, multiple biopsies on private area without offering a differential diagnosis or alternative treatments. A simple cortisone cream cleared the problem. I was under general anesthesia in a major hospital in Wichita and it was a huge expense and with extreme discomfort with a long recovery. He only wanted the money from the surgery. The day of the surgery he came storming in the room and rudely said "Let's get this show on the road". Later on a follow up in private he blew up and humiliated me when I asked him some simple questions regarding the necessity of the operation. Avoid this nasty man.

Not only was Dr. Porter able to work me in to a very tight schedule but he took a lot of time explaining the surgery I would have, what to expect during surgery, and what to expect as far as recovery time afterwards. He was never in a hurry when we visited and he was very willing to talk with family members. He has a great bedside manner, explains everything in layman's terms, and he has a great sense of humor. I'm very impressed with his professionalism, his surgery experience, and his overall care of me. I would highly recommend him.
