 |  Great Doctor and Staff  |  show details
Apr 11th, 2012

I don't care too much about the stuff they ask you to rate - my diagnosis was bang on (MRI was sent to friends who are doctors to verify) and the treatment was fantastic. Had spinal fusion - was taking mile long walks after 3 weeks. Now am almost completely recovered after 7 months. I find the questions ridiculous here - the only thing that matters is outcome and he delivers on making you feel better.

 |  Best Orthopedic Surgeon I've Encountered  |  show details
by Robert Pearson on Oct 15th, 2009

I needed a five level laminectomy. The surgery lasted 7 1/2 hours. The day after the surgery I was walking up and down the halls of the hospital. Day two I climbed one full level of stairs and back. Day three I could have been released except that the incision was still draining so I had to stay a few extra days. It has been three years and the outcome has been beyond my expectations. I can play golf, work in my woodworking shop and pretty much anything I want to do. Dr. Haak is nothing short of a miracle worker.
