Dr. Michael Joseph Cohen, MD

Dr. Cohen brilliant progressive Rheumatologist. As his patient for 30+ years also working along side 25+ years I can testify to his proficiency and greatly appreciated his unique sense of humor while deeply caring. Was only MD to make rounds at all 3 hospitals.

He is the worst Physician I've ever been to. He is extremely difficult to communicate with; my opinion, arrogant is the way he comes across. A couple of members of his Staff are the backbone of him in still practicing. None just my opinion, but that I've others I know who saw him as a patient. I had no tests, other than blood tests; no agreement when I told him of a particular pain/joint issue. When these health problems have actually been diagnosed through MRI @ another practice.

Dr. Michael Cohen and his Staff are the BEST! No matter what time you call their office during the day they will do their best to work you an appointment to bee seen that day and Dr. Cohen will actually call and talk with you should the need arise!!!!! Best all around in my opinion!!!

I've been going to Dr. Cohen for something like 20 years, first for osteoarthritis and then for general practitioner matters involving internal medicine. The discomfort from osteoarthritis is now under control using, of all things, an over-the-counter product, Cosamin DS. He's not only a good doctor, he's a good person. And he listens intently to what I have to say. His staff is super-wonderful. Jennifer, his nurse, is efficient and friendly. If I were not satisfied with my general medical care from them, would I still be going after all this time? That's a rhetorical question, but it demonstrates exactly how I feel about the care I receive!

Besides not having a great bedside mannor, I believe that this doctor does not know what he is doing. I have been diagnosed with RA, and tests prove it. He ran tests and says it isn't RA. He thinks it is Sclaroderma.. What is going on? More tests and more tests.. Not for me.. Also I found it quite odd that I had to disrobe for his exam. I have friends who see an RA specialist and they never have disrobed. This is crazy. I have had enough and will not be going back to this nut. I perfer someone who is a professional and knows what they are doing...

I have been a patient of Dr. Cohen for over 25 years. I feel Dr. Cohen is a great diagnostition. He spends time with you and lets you ask questions. I have always felt like he does not put you through lots of un-needed tests. His staff is friendly. Always a good experience.

I was very disappointed with the service I received by this Doctor. He was very unprofessional. Total me that I did not have Rheumatoid Arthritis, even though my RH factor was off the chart. He told me I must have Lupus. Insisted on doing test for other things, would not run test for the Rheumatoid Arthritis. He made me take off my pants and top to check for inflammation of my joints, he kept on touching me improperly. He then told me that I did not have Rheumatoid Arthritis that I had to have Lupus. I had to call his office for the test results on the Lupus test. They never called me back. When I called the office to get the results they told me that I did not have Lupus that I had Rheumatoid Arthritis. I cancelled my next appointment. I did not want a quack treating me. I want a Professional Doctor.
