Dr. Mitchell was great. I was extremely anxious about my gall bladder surgery, but he was very detailed and answered all my questions without feeling I was being hurried. He took the time to listen to my questions and worries and eased my anxiety.

NOT A VASCULAR DOCTOR - NO TRAINING

This man must have put up some reviews himself because he practices as a vascular physician, but has NO VASCULAR TRAINING. Never utilize a doctor without doing a background check to see if they actually have training to be a specialist. New York State allows any doctor to practice as a doctor with simply a 4 year degree, and does not require any other training to claim to be a specialist. So, a doctor can be a foot doctor on Monday, a brain surgeon on Tuesday, a phlebotomist on Wednesday and so forth without any training. This man does not hold any vascular certification which can be confirmed on nydoctorprofile.com. Note this website does not house any information under medical malpractice. To check out medical malpractice you must call each county in which the doctor has practiced, which can usually be determined by looking at where they lived when they went to school or got a residency.
