Dr. Michael Kirsch, MD

Several years ago I saw a different doctor from this practice, who has since left. Out of nowhere I started receiving letters, phone calls, and certified mail from Dr. Kirsch insisting that I needed to come back. I repeatedly asked the office staff to remove me from their mailing list and stop the solicitations, but that didn’t work. Staff was rude, and I wonder why Kirsch needs to be so aggressive in pursuing patients.

Dr. Kirsch listened to me describe my symptoms and patiently explained various options. Not only he is well informed but he cares. I did not feel, as is often the case, that I need to finish soon before the next patient. I will recommend him to all my friends. He is a rare creature, a truly good soul

I've visited Dr. Kirsch 2 months ago with complaints of abdomenal pain. He did not ask about my symptoms and did do any examination. He told me that he does not know why I have stomach pain and prescribed medication to take. I called him two weeks later and told that medication does not work and asked to do EGD. But he did not want to do procedure and sent me to my family doctor. I wasted time visiting my family doctor and then another GI doctor who scheduled EGD. EGD shown gastritis with hemorrhage and biopcy revealed that I have H-pilory. If Dr. Kirsch done these tests when I visited him two months ago, I would be healthy now. I've lost two months without proper treatment!

Poor bedside manner, did not make me feel comfortable to talk to him, acted like I was wasting his time, spoke to me rudely. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Kirsch has been my doctor for some time. I find him to be informative, patient, respectful, caring, and willing to take time to explain things and answer questions, he never rushes you. I highly recommend him!

After suffering for a few months, and wasting time with my doctor of that time, I decided to find a new doctor. My husband had met Dr. Kirsch previously so I called for an appointment. In one day's time, after one test, Dr. Kirsch had a diagnosis, prescribed the proper medication, and I have had not one problem since - and that was almost four years ago. He is so kind, obviously knows his business, easy to speak with and always seems to be happy. What a pleasure to go see him and his delightful secretary, Adrienne, for a checkup .

Dr. Kirsch was beyond wonderful when I met him unexpectedly due to being hospitalized with a puzzling and mysterious illness in December. Although I did not choose Dr. Kirsch (as I had no previous history), I couldn't have been more fortunate! He was thorough, dedicated to finding the cause of my mystery illness, patient, and willing to include my daughter in every aspect of treatment. We never felt hurried or ignored. After my discharge, he provided the same degree of quality in his follow-up care and made sure that I completed my additional testing (colonoscopy) as indicated. I am hopeful that I will not require his services for a long time to come, but if or when I do, I pray he will still be practicing!y

Doctor Kirsch is the kind of Doctor that other Doctors should model themselves to be. He has a way to make you feel comfortable,in that he will make adjustments to take care of your problem. I have been a patient of his for over 20 years,and have had a few bouts of Colitis. He has recommended medicines that have helped me to recover rather quickly. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

My mother saw him for the past 12 months, said she had IBS, come back every month.. She was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer . who cares about ease of apt. etc.

I scheduled an appointment with this doctor as a follow up to an ER visit (severe abdominal pain and rectal bleeding for 4 days). The ER ruled out hemorrhoids and recommended a colonoscopy, considering my history with Lupus and possible Chrons. Dr. Kirsch insisted it was just a hemorrhoid, he insisted my abdominal pain was muscular despite the fact that I was having thin stringy bowl movements and the pain was originating from in between my hips. The doctor has no understanding of patient care and seem to think the management of pain isn't necessary (I'm sorry, but any doctor that doesn't understand the need for patient comfort is a horrible doctor).
