The billing and business practices are unacceptable and predatory. I was unknowingly given an "in office procedure", which consisted of a scope in my nose, and then told at check out that my bill was $300 because of the scope. At no time during my appointment was I made aware that the scope was considered a "procedure" or that it was that costly. All I got from the from office staff was an, "oh well", and that they didn't know what they doctor was going to be doing. Dr. Kronenberger and the office staff live and breathe insurance claims and coding everyday, as do most medical offices, so to play the dumb card is insulting. I should have been told by the Doctor at the time that the scope was considered a procedure and it's costly if insurance did not pay for it. The fact that he nor the staff communicated this to me is unacceptable. I should not have been blindsided on my very first appointment with ridiculous charges, without first being able to verify with insurance. I would advise… others to avoid this office. * As a disclaimer, I was later refunded the charges as the office essentially coded the procedure incorrectly with the insurance company. However, this does not change the incredible poor experience or poor billing practices of this office. They should absolutely communicate with their patients before hand to avoid further instances like this. ** After researching this doctor's office more, I see other reviews with the exact same complaint, one being from 2016. This proves the doctor and staff know exactly what they're are doing and need to be held accountable. I've filed a complaint with Baylor Scott and White and urge other patients to use another doctor. This one is a scam.

Dr. Kronenberger is a great ENT surgeon. He gave me a thorough exam and explained everything that we be done with my surgery well. His followup after the surgery was great. He is a smart Doctor with a great bedside manner. He staff is polite and helpful.

I was having chronic sinus infections for a couple years. Finally my regular doctor referred me to Dr. Kronenberger. Got an appointment - he checked me out - had a cat scan (at his office) - he looked at the scan and told me I had polyps and bone spurs and that my nose and sinus's were just a mess. He told me I should benefit from surgery but it was my call. Decided to have him do the Surgery and it was probably one of the best decisions EVER. It has been over a year since surgery and I think Dr. Kronenberger is just the BEST.

If you want to be talked to like your beneath him then choose this Kronenberger. He is fine with you as long as you have no questions nor concerns. He made sure to call me and talked down to me all that I was waiting for was for him to curse me out. He may be great at what he does but he is far from a people person. He needs major work in that department. Maybe a class in customer service would be great.

At first I was please with Dr. Kronenberger's office. They were able to get me in the same week I called. During my first appointment Dr. Kronenberger was nice. He explained to me I did need surgery, but then when I told him I was still nursing my child and wanted to wait till she was weaned he got pushy. He told me she was old enough (she was 16 months at the time) that she didn't need to be nursing anymore. Even thought it was said in a rude and condescending tone, I brushed it off. Ultimately, he is not a pediatrician and it is a decision between my child and I, not him. However, I then got the same condescending and unsupportive tone from the two nurses when I called back about 3 weeks later asking for medicine for relief of a sinus infection. This was my FIRST time to call for medicine, I had not abused that privilege. Both nurses told me "Well, you need surgery honey we can't keep giving you medicine." and then both asked me the age of my nursing child - what does that matter? I… knew why they wanted to know based on their tone. I felt pressured and bullied and there was no reason for that. All they had to do was say "We still recommend surgery and when the time is right for you, we will be here to do that." I could not get the surgery not only because I am nursing my child, it is also because of insurance, but they didn't even ask me, they assumed and were very rude in the way they communicated to me. I believe that is no way to talk to a patient and would hate for it to happen to someone else.

I used to like the way he treated me as a patient,now he appears to be in a rush and not care. I asked him a question and i was told "I don;t have time to explain " I felt his bed side manner ,has gone down considerably. I felt i was just another patient on a conveyor belt. He was even confused of when my symptoms starte. I did not feel confident in him anymore. felt very dissatisfied.

I went to Dr. Kronenberger a couple of years ago because of constant drainage leading to constant throat clearing. He diagnosed my problem as reflux and prescribed a few months of reflux medicine. When the medicine hadn't had any effect after a few months, I called and was told by the nurse that he wanted me to continue the medicine for even longer. When I told the nurse that I hadn't had the slightest change in symptoms, he had her call me back and tell me if I didn't want to take his suggestion, there was nothing else he could do for me! (Yes...he told the nurse to relay this message.) Wow! I'd never had an experience like this with a doctor...and haven't since.

Very personable and thorough. Did not do unnecessary tests. I had a pretty easy and definitely successful minor sinus procedure that really changed things for me for the better!
