Dr. L has great credentials, is quietly confident but isn’t ashamed to toot his horn when appropriate, listens, warm bedside manner, doesn’t rush appts, answered all my questions (there were many), is realistic and open rather than a slick salesman. I was very impressed with the result early on, and can’t wait to see the longterm results. The prices are competitive and you get what you pay for. He doesn’t lure you in with cheapo prices like plastic surgery mills who ignore patients who develop complications. He won’t do too many procedures at once like unscrupulous surgeons will... If there is a component of surgery that will be covered by your insurance Out-of-Network, his billers will run that part as Primary, and the cosmetic portion as Secondary — which saves the patient money. Many surgeons do not offer this option, since it may not benefit THEM. Glad I opted for the $500 Exparel shots. There is pain and discomfort the first week, but then you will turn a corner and… improve every day IF you don’t overdo it. Let others pitch in — they might realize all that you do. He doesn’t believe lymphatic massage is really a necessary expense, and binders/faja’s should NOT be over tight which can backfire. The charges include your pre-op and post-op appts and your first binder/faja. The anesthesiologists he uses are In-Network with most major insurances. I will update this review if there is anything I turned out to be unhappy with.
