Dr. Michael Kenneth Landi, MD

On November 21 2025 Dr Landi told me that I would walk out with no chronic back pain. He was exaclty right, It is now up to me to continue the follow up to keep my core strong because my risk for future surgery will always be higher. Dr Landi has made a HUGE difference in my quality of life. The Physical therapy was outstanding and service from Cindy S in scheduling was also outstanding, No more wheelchairs at airports and football games! Now, it is up to me to keep my core strong every day by exercising at least 30 minutes plus walking another 45 minutes.

Dr Landi is my hero! He saved by 90 year old mothers life who had a brain hemmorage. Went to Mount St Mary’s in Lewiston they refererred me to another Dr who stated he didn’t want to touch my mother due to her age and the amount of blood she had and that she would need a craniotomy. My mother had scene Dr Landi prior to this for a fractured skull. I insisted they call Dr Landi which they finally did. We rushed her to Kenmore Mercy. Was very distraught Met Dr Landi in the ICU and he said a crainiotomy was not necessary all he would have to do was to drill a little hole to drain the blood. He performed surg on my Mom the next day. I can’t thank Dr Landi enough. It has been months later and my Mother is doing excellent ! Highly Recommended this Wonderful Dr who knows his stuff????

I have been seen in the office on several occasions. I do believe that something happened while in surgery, I was seen for a microdiscectomy in lower back. Upon completion of operation I was immediately in MORE severe pain and also lost feeling in my leg post opp. With devastating pain and a blue cold foot ( post opp, & I still deal with ) I complained until I was seen again, to find out that the disc was immediately re-herniated or that some material was missed during the procedure; but the loss of feeling in my leg couldn't be explained in a sensible manner. (meaning what ever truly happened was to be covered up-my opinion) the operation failed. period. Over all I would rate the staff with a good fair rating, wait time is long which is to be expected with any doctor visit, and the neuro-team itself was always polite . As for Mike Landi ; I wouldn't have him touch me again unless he was the only person left in the world, which is why I am still dealing with this unbelievable… misfortune and did not continue on to have Mr. Landi again perform ANOTHER operation after I had found out about a re-herniation, or that some material could have been missed. I can attest that the NP under doctor Landi is great, and I truly believe she should, be within her own office and not par-taking in the corporate "rat race". Please people of WNY do your homework before you commit to any surgery; after all you are you own best advocate, be ruthless and ask the tough questions and don't settle for a mediocre reply. This is your life and I'm guessing it's already been tough from an injury and life changing, but don't settle. These professional take an oath to the patients and often this very oath is put behind their materialistic ideology. This man performed back to back surgeries on my brain. I lived in severe pain for over 6 months until he, and his partners discovered my VP shunt wasn't working, the SAME VP shunt I was told I could not live without. Before the replacement surgery, Dr Landinshook my father's hand as I was being taken down for anestesia and said everything will be okay there's only 1% chance she can get an infection. Guess who got an infection in the lining of her brain? I needed to then immediatly have another brain surgery to remove the device, remain heavily moniteted in ICU and at one point was told I was going to be put in a medically induced coma, for testing and spent weeks in the hospital with his team of doctors. I was sent home shortly after, no VP shunts, no medically induced coma, no severe migraines, but now suffer from severe PTSD anxiety and depression thanks to this man and the people at buffalo brain and spine center. Mind you, who has me steadily on highly addictive pain medication and… abruptly canceled my appointment with pain management I had set for 8 months because of a billing discrepancy. I can't change what has happened to me, at the hands of this doctor, but I can only hope to speak the truth of what I have been through and never recommend a single soul to international drive and this team at Invision health and the brain and spine center.

For me personally, I have had several back problems dating back to a 1999 auto accident. Dr. Landi is the first to actually spend the time to explain EXACTLY what is wrong and why I feel the way I do. Obviously, that means a lot to me and my family. I travel over 500 miles to see him and his staff. Top of the line on all fronts.

I had back surgery recently and had poor results. I met with the pa briefly before and after. Dr. Landi Spent 5 minutes with me at the most and seemed very matter-of-fact about the surgery. I don't understand why the person who did the surgery would not have time to visit afterwards. I am still in a lot of pain and was told there is nothing more that can be done. Despite all of the positive reviews, I was not impressed.

Dr. Landi is fabulous... A spinal tumor is a very serious diagnosis.... I was very impressed by the way this was handled. He is kind,caring compassionate and mild-mannered. He speaks softly and gently ... He is able to ease your fears with very few words. The day I met him....I felt like I had been touched by an angel. This is a man you can trust your life with.

After being in an auto accident 3 years ago, I had been given ever stronger drugs with no one giving me any option except pain management. That was useless. A friend who had been in horrible pain had been helped by Dr. Landi. I called, and was able to get an appointment within a month. He read my MRI, gave me his opionion, and performed a Laminotomy within a month. I bless this man every day. I do not limp anymore, and my pain is almost gone and decreasing every day with exercise. I have given his name to at least six friends who also have not been helped elsewhere. Thank you, Dr. Landi, for giving me my life back.

Don't let any other doctor do your surgery! I was in horrible pain from a botched surgery on my back by another surgeon. No doctor would take my case, i was told I had Failed back syndrome and go to pain management. An acquaintance told me to see Dr Landi. It took 3 months to get in to see him and thank god I did. He figured out what was wrong and fixed it and I have a new life. God Bless him. He helps so many people. He really cares.
