My mother-in-law was Dr. Lichtenstein's patient over 12 years ago and we all loved the way he took care of her. Now my husband and I both are under his care and feel very fortunate for that. Even though he is a very busy teacher and doctor, he responds to our needs very quickly.

He cares more about typing in patient information for his research papers and attending professional conferences than checking on his critically ill patients. Even when you tell him repeatedly how severe the symptoms are, he will advise you not to go to E.R. or the hospital.
