Dr. Lichtenstein is a truly caring and devoted physician. He always responds to my questions and requests. If you have an urgent matter, he will respond by phone or by text. Those of us who are lucky enough to be this wise doctor's patients are very blessed

I cannot praise Dr. Lichtenstein's care highly enough...4 stars doesn't get it! It is true that there is a long wait for an appointment, but there is no better geriatrician in San Antonio.

My mother-in-law was Dr. Lichtenstein's patient over 12 years ago and we all loved the way he took care of her. Now my husband and I both are under his care and feel very fortunate for that. Even though he is a very busy teacher and doctor, he responds to our needs very quickly.

He cares more about typing in patient information for his research papers and attending professional conferences than checking on his critically ill patients. Even when you tell him repeatedly how severe the symptoms are, he will advise you not to go to E.R. or the hospital.
