Dr. Michael Joseph Mahelsky, MD

Rude and confrontational. He gave up on me when I needed him the most. Save your money and find someone else, there are a lot of great people in the field that will treat you like a human being.

I've worked with Dr. Mahelsky for many years. No doubt in my mind about his practice and helpfulness. If I doubted him, I wouldn't still be working with him! Great doc.

I was referred to doctor Mahelsky since my former psychiatrist had put me on a lot of medication which was not agreeing with me. I met with Doctor Mahelsky who spent a lot of time with me and helped to find the right medication to treat me properly. Excellent psychiatrist.

Unfortunately, my insurance has changed, and Dr. Mahelsky is not with my new insurance. This is a problem with our insurance company system! My doctor is great, and I won't switch. I'll pay his fee (which is decent) and stay. I won't give in to the insurance companies and their control!

I've worked with Dr. Mahelsky for many years. He's been very helpful, especially with finding the right medications and the right amount of time to take the meds. Coming off of medication was much easier with him, compared with my prior psychiatrists. Great doctor.

His recommendations have been excellent, and he's helped me to get through some of the most difficult times in my life. I definitely recommend this doctor.

I've worked with other psychiatrists before. However, Dr. Mahelsky is the best by far. He's available for appointments and can actually be reached on the phone, since he picks up himself. His diagnosis was right on, and his explanation of the choices of different treatments was really helpful. I've felt a lot better since starting treatment with Dr. Mahelsky.

He is a good doctor for sure, I think he could work on being a little nicer on the phone. In person great doc spends time with you and really knows what he's doing. However over the phone again, he rushes you to just come in for an appt. and is not as nice I would like
