I completely concur with the other review -- and I wasn't even seeking pain meds. The doctor should not be practicing medicine.

I have been seeing Dr. McInnis for about two years. About six months ago, I saw him for back pain. He sent me for x-rays, which he said came back "mostly normal", except for degenerative changes in my spine and scoliosis. He also thought I might have Fibromyalgia. He prescribed several different pain medications at various times before referring me to a Pain Management clinic. When the Dr. at the Pain clinic treated me like a complete idiot, I went back to Dr. McInnis. He told me that he would continue treating me. However, each time I would call the office and try to get a refill or a possible change in medication, the head nurse was extremely rude and accusatory. She treated me as if I were a drug-seeker and even told me that I was abusing the drugs, although she had no idea half the time what I was taking. When I complained to the Dr., he dismissed it and had absolutely nothing to say. They did not seem to communicate much (I am basing this on conflicting info given by Dr. and nurse), and I became concerned that she wasn't even consulting with him. I recently called to let them know that the medication I was given was not working well (Tramadol), and the nurse called me back, accused me of abusing drugs, said that she called and cancelled my refills, and said that the Dr. was dismissing me as a patient. When I asked her why, she told me that she refused to argue with me and that it was because I had called for a refill of my medication, which I had not done. I am done with this Dr. and his horrible nurse, and plan on filing a complaint with the medical board.
