I would recommend this Dr. to someone who is on a journey to find themselves, truly understand why they are struggling/suffering and how it started. Other than that, I would not recommend this Dr. to a seasoned patient who needs specific issues addressed so they can function during the process. I also think medication management and understanding are missing in this practice.

Dr. Pierce is a very kind and compassionate psychiatrist. His knowledge on dx one's illness is exceptional. I have been a patient of his for over 10 years. I am on medication for my diagnoses but now am working with Dr. Piece with alternative medicine....biofeedback. He is also open to homeopathic medicine in certain circumstances. In addition to psychiatry, he practices psychotherapy and works with each individual on a one to one basis, he is an excellent listener and invites the patient to learn how to become pro-active in his own care when Dr. Pierce feels they are emotionally ready to do this.
