My wife died due to his incompetence. I believe his major concern is saving money for his group. After being told of a cancer risk he didn't respond. Had he acted sooner she would she be here. If you value your health avoid this creep
I too thought this guy was a good attentive doctor and I trusted him. Because of my faith in him, my wife died. We had been seeking help for years on stomach/throat issues. We were continuously told it was nothing but heartburn. As these symptoms grew into bigger issues his concern grew less. At one point I had told him that her brother had died of cancer and that I was worried, he wasn't. This went on for several years. She was losing weight, she was anemic, her stomach was making strange sounds, she had back and chest pain and he told us to take tums. Her gynecologist even called him and told him something was wrong, he still didn't order any tests to find out what was wrong. He finally ordered a upper gi exam which he told me wouldn't cost too much. I questioned that statement wondering why he was concerned about the cost, we did have health insurance. He told us the test was clear and to take tums. She then developed a fever and he said it was the flu, after it persisted for three weeks he didn't take notice. Even I knew flu fever doesnt last three weeks. Finally I realized we weren't going to get any help from him, he didn't even want to see her. It was then I decided, I took her to an emergency room. Within one week she was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer. She died two months later. To add insult to injury, I received a letter from him denying an endoscopy two weeks after she was diagnosed. the endoscopy is what finally found what we have been trying to find out for three years. He couldn't have been more wrong. Everyone but rubottom knew something was wrong. Had he ordered an endoscopy three years earlier, my family wouldn't be grieving right now. I believe his major concern was saving the medical group money by not doing the tests that cost more. There are other areas where he missed as well. She had several risk factors for this disease that he wasn't aware of. This guy isnt a good doctor, hes a good actor. My advise, pay for the tests yourself. It's too late for me, I learned the hard way. My beloved wife of 35 years and mother of my children is gone. And as for his staff, which is a miserable woman named Linda, she made me feel I was a nuisance while my wife was dying of cancer. She doesn't belong around people in need. She hates people and has the compassion of a rattlesnake.. You can email me at tupapaau@gmail.com
I`ve been a patient for 25 years now. Best doctor out there. Always listens, shows his concern and never rushes me. He recently had a stroke and is currently recovering and is planning on returning
If you care about your health, avoid this creep. Money is his only concern. He will let you die before he will order a test that will cost his group money. I had to pay for a test myself to find

Fantastic primary care physician. A really intelligent, well educated and instinctive doctor, who listens well and cares about his patients. He is a rarity that his patients are lucky to be cared by.
i went to a primary care physician in this same building and she was scary. i went to dr. rubottom and he was anything but - definitely knows his stuff. i was able to get in and out under 40

He is the most awesome doctor! I have never had a more caring, attentive, sensitive medical professional. He is a no-nonsense, down-to-earth human being who truly cares. When was the last time you had a doctor call you at home just to see if you are OK? Five stars, at least!

Dr.Michael Rubottom is the quintessential model of a true doctor. Dr. Rubottom actually listens with an open ear and open heart and is most authentic with his client's.
