Let me start by saying that my daughter did not (thankfully) get seen by Dr. Schlitt. She saw other doctors in his office, but I spoke to Dr. Schlitt over the phone. By the time my daughter was 1 1/2 months, I was billed for three erroneous charges by this office! My daughter went to the office for a “free” weight check and I billed for the visit a few weeks later! I called them about the error and instead of admitting to their mistake, or even saying that they might have made a mistake, they blamed me and said I must have requested an examination and therefore, they billed me for one. I absolutely, positively did not request an exam and had no reason to do so. In fact, my daughter had a doctor’s appointment that same day with an ENT doctor and was already getting an exam (which I paid for), so there was no reason in the world for me to ask for another one!!! I spoke to the office manager, Rita, and Dr. Michael Schlitt, who were both rude, accused me of doing things I did not do and insisted that they knew for a fact that I requested an exam and that is why they billed me. In other words, they called me a liar and said there is no way that they could have made a mistake. This practice cannot be trusted! They are money-hungry and do not care about you or your children! They will try to slip all types of charges in your bill. Most patients, especially those who are busy with newborns, will not comb through the bill, but they have tried to scam the wrong person this time! I have already paid thousands of dollars out of my own pocket in doctor’s bills for the birth of my daughter, so it is not like I just do not want to pay a bill, but I refuse to pay a dime for something that I should not be charged for. Do not bring your children here, because you do not know what they will bill you for. I can take up another ten pages recounting all of the rude, condescending comments Dr. Schlitt and his office staff have made towards me. The office manager, Rita, hung up the phone when I asked for her name (which I got later). She would not have had a problem providing her name if she was treating me properly. The bottom line is that you need to keep your kids far away from here. They will try to steal your money and disrespect you. Their philosophy is “the customer is always wrong”.

My nephews all had Haddon Peds & Dr Schlitt for their medical care until they became adults. I loved the caring attitude of the staff, the way I could call with a question(big or small) and the care & attention they showed the boys. If only the boys could have stayed young--we could have kept Haddon Peds as their doctors always
