Dr. Michelle L Dagostine, MD

I have been treated by Dr. Dagastine or quite a few years now. She takes me seriously and is knowledgeable about my RLS. She has a compassionate demeanor and stays up to date with current reseach. She has shared treatment details with my other physicians despite them being out of network. [I found her when I was living in Ct. but now live in Massachusetts and drive almost 1 1/2 hours to see her. Five stars is not nearly enough. If there was a negative the constant change of personnel at the ront desk would be it.

First appointment was very thorough and pleasant and informative ordering numerous tests and follow up appointment. When I received the portal confirmation for my second appointment I learned that it was with an APRN that I was uncomfortable with when I called to question this the response I received was that's the way it's done here but would be able to speak with the doctor briefly after the appointment with the APRN I did a Google search on the APRN to only to learn she only one star on the review and when I voice my concern about this, it was dismissed. The follow-up with the doctor was uncomfortable when she commented that the staff tried to contact me on a few occasions but I did not respond I informed her I never received any call from them which she in turn responded are you calling my staff Liars? I kept to my statement and shortly after he changed and said oh we did have to let two staff go at the front desk for not doing their jobs correctly and seem to be somewhat… apologetic at that point it did change the complexion and Dynamics of our relationship and I no longer feel comfortable with her treating me with a compromised attitude.

Dr. Dagostine is a world-class neurologist who is the very best in her expertise of movement disorders. I’m treated with such kindness and compassion by her at every appointment. She is accurate at correctly diagnosing, evaluating thoroughly and knows the most effective treatment method. Answers any questions and address any concerns I have. Spends a lot of time with me and never rushes to the door during the appointment. I experienced chronic pain and distress from a disorder that I didn’t even know I had until she diagnosed me. My problematic symptoms have resolved thanks to her insight and generous efforts to help me during my ordeal. Dr. Dagostine has a heart of gold and I feel very blessed to be her patient. Thank you Dr. Dagostine. Wish I could give 100 stars instead of 5 stars. In addition, I want to thank Nina and all of front desk staff that have been wonderful to me. Especially when I need an appointment sooner or calling me to let me know if an appointment is canceled and… needs to be rescheduled.

Dr. Dagostine is a very good. She try to make me comfortable. Also, She has a very good personality!

Doctor is nice but needs to get new front staff asap to keep her positive review! The front desk staff and nurse are extremely rude! when i was there a hispanic woman was checking in for her appt and could not understand english the secretary asked for a Mexican or Puerto Rican License?!!! the way she delivered it was shocking!!! my mouth dropped! super rude and racist! also multiple occasions when i have called for questions about my prescription and the just hung the phone super rude and they basically do what they want! i do not recommend this place!

We were very pleased with the doctor's bedside manner and how knowledgeable she was about Parkinson's. Highly recommend.

We have been to several doctors and Dr. Lavallee was the only one who really seemed to understand Parkinson's. She addressed questions we had before I could even ask them! She is wonderful!

She really put me at ease and has an excellent bedside manner!

We have had this amazing woman as a Dr for Parkinson's patient for 2-3 yrs. We have had about 5 others so we do have some basis to judge. She is warm and direct and honest. So refreshing to get some real answers. I can't even tell you what a difference she has made in my caregiving. I would of given up by now. Hugs to you, Doc. Thankyou forever. Only negative thing I have is some of my messages never got to the Dr. So it is important to follow up yourself.
