The doctor is very thorough in her exam and assessment. Overall, I really like her. My concern is that she focuses on weight as a proxy for health. After asking questions about my history, including exercise regimen, nutrition, substance use, medications, etc, she focused on my weight as an indicator of poor health. When probed, she acquiesced that there wasn't much else I could be doing in terms of lifestyle changes in order to affect my weight. Because of societal messaging that low weight = healthy.. And the prevalence of disordered eating I wish that Dr Foye would have a more sensitive and sensible approach to talking about weight and not using It as synonymous with health.

Overall, the appointment focuses on data collection as opposed to to consulting with me regarding my health. It used to be a consult, now it is checking off boxes and data entry. Humanity has been lost.

So few doctors are as thorough as Dr. Lentner-Foye and I suspect insurance pressure is the reason, but she is top notch

After several years, Dr. Foye has sent me a certified letter to tell me she no longer wishes to be my doctor. I am shocked and disappointed at that level of unprofessional behavior when dealing with someone who is very ill.

Dr.Foye is unaattentive, after my car accident didn't seem concerned I was in so much pain, changed my meds and when I called to say that they were not good for me dropped me as a patient.....just when I needed her the most!!!

Dr Foye has been amazing! Not only did she figure out some really difficult things with my health, she has 'been there' for me when I needed an immediate appt and has been very thorough in her approach. Additionally, Rosanna, the PA who works with her, is a wonderful medical professional. I don't recommend the RN, who was neither nice nor helpful, and the office staff is hit or miss in terms of friendliness or helpfulness. Dr Foye is the real thing, though... a really terrific doctor.
