Dr. Michelle Simone Saidel, MD

Dr. Saidel treated my 11 y.o. son at Hampstead Hospital. Dr. Saidel was dismissive of parent questions and concerns. She may have excellent clinical training, but her manner was impatient and cold. She discharged our child without an appropriate after care plan and he was re-admitted to the hospital after four days. We were very dissatisfied with this doctor. She lacked compassion and was difficult to work with.

This Dr. Is awful. She dismissed my and my child's medical concerns and discharged my child right away. NH is ranked very low in mental health treatment. If you want help for your child look out of this state.

Doctor Saidel was my son's psychiatrist during his 1 year stay at Hampstead hospital. She was wonderful, professional, caring, very careful about prescribing new medications and explaining me possible side effects. She knows a lot, very respectful and compassionate, and I feel very fortunate to have her in our lives. Not only she provided care my son needed, but also helped us tp find the best school program where he is now. I wish there were more psychiatrists like Dr. Michele Saidel.

My 8 year old son was a patient of this doctor at Hampstead for 8 days. I met her once with the "team" to discuss a behavioral discharge plan for him. At the meeting she belittled my concerns about my sons increasingly alarming behavior. A few days later I received the discharge notes where in it she says that I am a big part of the problem being "too anxious and overwhelmed to take any of the teams suggestions". If you find yourself in a situation where your son (in my case with a diagnosis of PDD & MR) is hurting himself, you or members of your family - go elsewhere. In a very difficult time, the last thing any mother needs to feel is blame. Besides running blood labs, blame is about all Michelle Saidel will provide you.

Absolutely amazing, caring doctor. I'd reccommend her to anybody.

Dr. Saidel is a caring Doctor, who goes above and beyond normal care and support. She is well informed and very good at listening to your individual issues in order to find the correct treatment for you, as an individual.
