After my first visit with her I felt terrible as she was suggesting that my current treatment plan was dangerous, but after consulting with my PCP what Dr. Weil was suggesting was dangerous! She can't look outside her endocrinologist box and I'm a patient with multiple issues! I tried to switch to a different Endo but MGH would not let me switch (both I and my PCP tried). Today I had my second visit with her and I found her even more challenging and she said something really offensive (and unrelated). I will make a formal complaint and switch. This doctor is unhelpful and narrow scope and minded!

Dr. Weil has been my diabetes doctor and friend for several years and has saved my life .

more interested in her personal cell phone than patients.She should stay with treating diabetes because she doesnt seem to know how to treat hypothyroidism.My doctor gave me the ok to stop seeing her as it was in my best interest.

I found Dr. Weil to be curt, dismissive and argumentative. I see from her reviews that some of her diabetes patients seem to like her, but I strongly suspect she is not interested in treating hypothyroidism. She also gave me very poor medical advice. I can't imagine how she got hired by a place like MGH.
