Dr. Mick Abae, MD

I understood this doctor did not take my insurance, but all I got was lots of very expensive visits and no answers. When I asked questions he actually became annoyed. I wish I could’ve given zero stars.

After going to one of the expensive clinics for months without results. Dr abae looked at all my test results and quickly determined I would be a good candidate for a mini cycle. My body responded just like he thought it would and on the second try my little miracle had implanted. They also helped get my meds from oversees which saved us about 1/2 of the cost for the same exact medications I would had payed double just because it’s obly sold in the us. I was very happy with his bedside manner, always made me feel at ease and confident about the treatment. Follow all of their instructions and 90% you will soon get your little bundle of joy.

The Office manager Kate told me and amount for an IUI!!!!! Have been going paying out of pocket then when it comes to time for the procedure she tells me a different amount. Even have the amount that she told on the piece of paper that she calls their contract!!! I would not recommend this doctor to no one because they are not honest people when it comes to money.. all they care about is lining their pockets and not their patients. I then ask her for all that dates that I was there at the office and copy’s of the receipts she Didn’t want to give me the information I also recorded them in the doctor telling me it will take several weeks for me to get my dates of me being in their office.. I will be taking to a lawyer on my fee’s because it’s not right for someone to tell you something just to get you there and put it in writing not follow though with it.

They make you believe up front that they will charge you a very low price for Ivf, that is trick to make come to them. Once you get there they will rip you and your insurance off with all kind of claim. One test I paid out pocket for, they went ahead bill my insurance for huge amounts of money for. I was wondering how those people pay for bills because, whenever I went there I rare saw patients waiting in the waiting room.. After review my insurance monthly statement, I quit that doctor.

Dr Abae on numerous accounts has belittled his nurses in front of me. Made me very uncomfortable. I can't believe these girls put up with it. Also, donor eggs? They have none. Besides the fact that they have none, he is stealing your money. I heard a donor that they were trying to retrieve eggs from had over 60 follicles. A treatment cost say at the most $15,000 to retrieve eggs. But he wants to charge a person $18,000 just for 6 eggs. Do the math. There are better places to go for fertility treatment. Please walk away and look elsewhere. You will be very disappointed if you go to Dr. Abae.

Our experience working with Dr. Abae and his staff was amazing. Every time we walked through the door we were always greeted with a smile by Denise and Giselle and were treated as part of a family. The staff are so caring, especially nurses Rachel and Nelly, and they always took the time to answer every question and treat us with kindness and respect. Dr. Abae is extremely through, dedicated and knowledgeable and was always there for us - even on the weekends. Highly recommended.

Dr. Abae is a very kind and compassionate doctor, and the office staff was very helpful! I would highly recommend him.

I had to call the emergency line over the weekend because I was bleeding after I had become pregnant. Do you think I got a returned call to get me through it? NO. Guess what the pregnancy failed, wonder if it had anything to do with me bleeding over the weekend and not getting a response or any help from my Dr. This place doesn't care about you. The Dr just wants to do cycle after cycle and keep collecting that money.

Dr Abae and his staff are very professional and caring. Going through infertility treatment is very difficult but they were all so kind and helpful. I visited another practice in the area prior to starting treatment here and was so discouraged. Thankfully I found Dr Abae and am now pregnant. THANK YOU

Office staff is incompetent. The Dr acts like he cares until he gets your money. This process is highly emotional and this place is not one you should seek for fertility treatment. A big warning!
