Dr. Mihir Bhagwanji Patel, MD

This is not a review for Dr. Patel Specifically as i've never met him. This is a review for the Staff in his office, specifically the front desk. I had been in and out of the hospital for the past several weeks dealing with Gastro issues. When I was released the very last day they gave me a written referral to be seen by Dr. Patel within 3-5 days. When I got home I called and made an appointment for two days later. I gave all of my information when I called, as well as registered prior to the appointment. When I arrived I checked in, paid my co- payment and went on the speak with the nurse and fill him in on the entire hospital experience. We were going over all of the medications they sent me home with when the receptionist abruptly walked in and said they cannot see me. I presented them with the written release papers from the hospital clearly stating to Follow up with that exact doctor within three days. She said no, I was not being seen. Not only was I half way through… my visit already, I had waited two days for the appointment and it is now Thursday, Leaving me without medical care lined up. I asked if I could become a self pay patient and still keep the appointment. I desperately needed the medical care, sooner than later. The answer was NO. While I was in shock that they were turning me away at that point of the visit. It was how they handled this entire situation that blindsided me. A professional office would have taken responsibility for their error and offered assistance. Not screamed that I wasn't being seen, and asked to leave. This office is clearly NOT about the health of the patient. I left the office with no alternative medical appointment and ZERO support.. STEER CLEAR! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I had a severe stomach virus and was able to se Dr Patel immediately. He Ran numerous tests and although everything was negative, he followed up with recommendations for my dehydration and journey to get well. I felt he was caring and attentive each time I visited the office.

I’ve seen dr patel twice. Once for myself and took my sister today. He is v informative and a true caring professional.

Dr. Patel has performed two sets of colonoscopies and endoscopies for me in the past seven years. He is thorough, caring and considerate before during and after the procedures.

I have to say that Dr. Patel is an incredibly awesome doctor in every way. I never submit this stuff on the web, and have to tell you that Dr. M. Patel is everything you want in a doctor and more. He goes way above and beyond to help you and these days, it's rare to find a doctor who truly cares.

I highly recommend the Center for Digestive Care and doctors Patel and Patil. I had both colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures and was truly amazed at the professionalism and care I received throughout those procedures. Dr. Patel is also treating me for autoimmune hepatitis and I am very happy with the treatment I am receiving and with the efficiency of the office in general.

Had both procedures done by Dr. Patel and it was great! He has a fantastic bedside manner and explains the procedures to you so you can understand them. I would go see him again!!!

Great Doctor. I challenge anyone to find a better one. Stop looking and make call.

Dr. Patel recently performed a colonoscopy on me.He has an excellent bedside manner, very friendly and takes the time to listen to the patient.I would recommend him to anyone.
