I've NEVER had a doctor personally call to follow up with me and see how I am doing. She asked if I needed anything to give her a call! How incredible is that!

I would DEFINATLY not advise people to see this doctor. My reasons are valid and i believe they should be heard.First of all- she has a resceptionist who is very rude and gives medical advice to how a medication "should or shouldnt" effect me. (I called the day after my appointment to report that the drug they gave me was basically SIMPLY SLEEP AKA Benadryl (these drugs make me jittery as the adarax did). I am not seeing this DR for insomnia and surley not paying $375 a visit to be put on a fancy prescription antihistamine for G.A.D. This woman changed my medication that had been working for me for 2 years and refused to even give me a 5 minute follow-up phone call when i was only asking for my prior medication regemin that was very effective and approved by my previous DR. (lost Dr due to his retierment) I was also told to find a different doctor if i wasnt happy. HOW CAN I BE HAPPY WITHOUT THE PROPER MEDS???? The only reason i have this doctor is because i beleived she was the best.… She is a "specialist" oh yeah and i believe she costs more than ANYONE!! I Find it really strange for a person who claims to care about people and their mental health to not even call one of her patients to do a small follow-up. I have gotten follow-ups and better care from the freaking low income clinic. (no offence to being low income.....i am) So beleive me! you are not getting what you are paying for. No phychiatric counceling, no tools to use, nothing! she just changes your medication over and over. I live here in alaska and i know that the worst time of year for depression is january-march. well this is when she decided to jack up my medication that all my other doctors AND HERSELF prescribed me before. Therefore i am now $800 in debt to her for an over the counter script. I know her practice is new but i feel that i have been toyed with and virtually robbed. I do not feel like this business is in it for the people- it has a cold feeling. They do lock you out in the entryway like a dog untill THEY unlock the door and let you in the reception area. cushy couches and lush furnature for them to sit on but its only for me to look at. weird feeling waiting in a cold callioused hallway when your already uncomfortable in the first place. Rediculus treatment!
