Although my surgery was some time ago, I must say that Dr. Torbarina performed my partial Hysterectomy and bladder repair surgery and I never experienced a single problem afterwards. Two GYNs had told me that nothing was wrong when I knew there was...After all,we know our bodies.

This review is a long time coming as I was a patient of Dr Torbatino’s in 1988 when her practice was in Tarzana, CA. At that time no one could tell what was wrong with me. I experienced severe abdominal pain and could not get pregnant. She discovered that i had severe Endometriosis for which I had surgery. She never knew about this but I went on to have a healthy daughter shortly after that. I owe it partially to her - and this was at a time when her practice was relatively new! Thanks Dr T! ??

I went to this doctor for a normal yearly vist. The wait in the waiting room was 1 hour and 10minutes both times I went for a visit. The first thing Dr. Torbarina tells me is that I am pregnant. Shocked, I waited in the examination room for someone to take me to get tested. Finally after about 20 minutes someone comes into the room to check me out. NOT to take me to get a pregnancy test. When I figured out I was being checked out I demanded a pregnancy test. Which I recieved and was NOT pregnant. Also on this visit I found out that I had a syct in my uterus. So then I was scheduled to be seen by an ultrasound tech. The ultrasound tech told me that it was very large and the doctor is going to consult me on treatment options. I was called back from Dr. Torbarina's staff to schedule an appointment for treatment options. After stressing about the possible treatment I find out that its not big and there is nothing they could do. I got a second opinion and shortly after my very large syct… was removed. Although this doctor has alot of experience there are conflicting responces from what the staff says and the doctor. And you would think being that I am young and it would of been my first child that if she really thought I was pregnant she would gotten the test results before sending me to be checked out.

terrible doctor, could not wait to get away from her.she has no patience at all, and is rude to her clients and staff. when i had a question for her, she actually told me to just look it up on WebMD instead of waste her time. how professional, to refer someone to the vagaries of the INTERNET instead of bothering to use your non-existent medical knowledge. absolutely the worst. she is very rough when handling patients and during procedures. she recommended i get 2 biopsies in order to test abnormal cells and both were inconclusive! the painful procedures (no anesthetics) left me bleeding each time, and when i expressed how uncomfortable and nauseous i felt, torbarina told me that i'd be fine once i ate a bagel. she wouldn't even let me sit in the room until i regained my composure!the worst part is that she dares to charge astronomical prices for her abysmal services. i checked my insurance statement and i saw that she charged $900 for a simple checkup where she spent all of 15 minutes… with me. thank god insurance adjusted the charge to a reasonable rate and covered it.would not wish this doctor on my worst enemy. avoid her!

IF YOU WANT TO STAY HEALTHY, STAY AWAY FROM MILKA TORBARINA. IN MY OPINION, SHE SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING MEDICINE. A DOCTOR'S CREED IS "FIRST DO NO HARM" BUT IN MY EXPERIENCE, TORBARINA DOES WHATEVER SHE WANTS, EVEN IF IT'S REMOVING HEALTHY ORGANS. RUN, DON'T WALK FROM THIS NUT CASE. AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU EVER SIGN HER ARBITRATION AGREEMENT!!

A complete animal. Absolutely no social skills. Rude, insulting, judging, nasty and threatening. No bed-side manner whatsoever. She should have been a veterinarian, but then again I would not trust her with my pet. She should have her license pulled.
