Highly unprofessional!!! Extremely rude, started yelling mid session and i left. Horrible bed side manners. Please never visit this doctor. I'm still in a state of shock , how can someone in his profession be so mean and a total jerk!

Finding a mental health professional to help with adolescents isn’t easy. The second step is: Is this person the right person for my child? Kind of like a shoe, they don’t all fit!! Dr. Anderson is intuitive, kind and compassionate not just to the child but also to the parent. He really listened and spent time with us to get to the correct diagnosis. Follow ups consisted of questions and answers and trying new things to ensure my child has what they need to be the best they can be. Yes, we have had to wait at times, but knowing when we are in his office we have his full attention and he spends all the time we need he’s worth the wait. I highly recommend seeing Dr Anderson if your child has academic struggles that are impacting their wellbeing.

Overbooked, doesn't review previous visit notes, rude, impatient, erratic and long wait time then shortens visit because already looking to next patient.

He is very kind and understanding, but he also knows when he has to be firm with a patient. Thanks to him I feel better than I have in years.

This clinician is not professional. He is rude, arrogant and lacks people skills. I would not recommend him if you expect any empathy or understanding for yourself or loved ones. Pick another doctor.

What this quack said to me while staying in Ochsner hospital [what was a child therapist doing on call in an adult wing?] was totally uncalled for,I won't tell the entire experience as it would leave readers scratching their heads. This man should not be in practice

As a young teen I was headed down a seemingly rocky path to thoes around me. I had no real goals or expecations of myself. I was a staple at Bourbon St. nightclubs at the ripe oold age of 13. i was obviously lost. While I knew i had promise and that I was a smart person I had no intention to use my given strengths for anything positive. Than came Milton. Having seen at least 10 mental health professionals with the titles of M.D. or PhD in my life I knew the drill. However Milton was different from any other doctor I have ever seen. He was more of a teacher than a doctor. he was the first doctor to correctly diagnose my condition and he was able to remove all of my medications from my daily routine. Seeing Dr. Anderson is a privlage, truly a wonderful experience that I recommend for any young person whatever their issues may be.

Children are excited when they get to see Dr. Anderson, important because he works with the most challenging issues kids face: autism, Asperger's, bipolar, and others. Excellent diagnostic skills, warmth, humor, and state-of-the-art psychiatric know-how.
