I booked an appointment with Dr. Santos for a complete examination because I was not feeling well. On the day of my appointment I packed up all my vitamins and medications. The nurse logged all the information into the computer and now Dr. Santos walks in to the room. As she looks into the computer, she makes a few inaccurate statements about a visit that I had with the Orthopedist. Then she asks why I am here. I told her that I was not feeling well and I made an appointment for a complete physical. Dr. Santos now states to me that the first visit is a MEET AND GREET. I then said to her, well I book an appointment for a complete physical and if this is a MEET AND GREET, I WOULD LIKE SOME CAVIAR AND CHAMPAGNE. Dr. Santos said that when I leave to make another appointment for a complete physical. She then sent me for blood work. A few days later the office called to give me my blood results. I only heard about 2 tests and we hung up. I called back and spoke to the nurse to ask her about my cholesterol. I was told that it was not done. I asked her about the urine I left and I was told there were no tests done. WOW I said, this is the first time that I have gone to a Doctor and have diabetes for 50 years and complete blood and urine has not been done. I think she STINKS! BOTTOM LINE!
Dr. Santos is the most unprofessional doctor-if you could even call her that- I have ever been to. It's next to impossible to get and appointment or a script. It's like their allergic to picking up the phone. She has lied to me, she has misinformed me about a serious condition that I have. NEVER EVER go to her!
The staff and Dr. Santos are very unprofessional. Please find another doctor.
She's very unprofessional. She cancelled my annual checkup appointment because i was late for 15 minutes even though i normally wait for them 30 minutes to 1 hour before they treat me. If you value your time and want professional doctor and staff, look for another Doctor.
She has a great PA with whom I am able to get an appt. with asap. The PA consults with DR. Santos on any unusual symptoms or test results. You are not past off to the PA it is always your choice.
