I recently went in to see Dr. Kaye for my infertility. I've met with a few previous doctors but didn't experience the same type of concern and I care I felt from him. From making the appointment to actually going to the office the experience was nothing but great.
Every appointment that I have with Dr. Kaye, he gives me the best care and complete attention to my concerns. He is fantastic!
I've been seeing Dr. Kaye for a while now for my prostate. I always get an appointment quickly and rarely wait more then 15 minutes. He's the best urologist I have ever seen
Great Doctor. His office staff is friendly and was very accommodating.
Very pleased patient. Dr. Kaye personally called me with my results very quickly and got me scheduled for a biopsy the next week. He and his office made the process very smooth and easy
I called Dr. Kaye' s office on Thursday begging to get with him on Friday, it was short notice and they were able to squeeze me in at the time that worked best for me. I started having the worst Kidney Stone Pain and need it looked at before my business trip to Prescott . I am so glad I was able to get it right away and get treated by him.
I heard Dr. Kaye on the radio talking about ED and I scheduled an appointment. I was excited to hear someone talk about it and his office was able to get me in within a week. He made me feel very comfortable and we went over a few treatment options for the problems I was struggling with for years but didn't want to talk to my family doctor about. I would high recommend Dr. Kaye.
This doctor was able to work me in the same day for my crazy UTI. Iâve been going to my family doctor for several months and he finally sent me to an urologist. This was the only office to accept my insurance and willing to get me in the same day let alone the same week.
Brilliant doctor. I was first seen by him at the hospital and have now followed up a handful of times in his office. I have a long history of kidney stones and Iâm happy to have found this physician!!!
Excellent service! I came in for a vasectomy consult, which was explained in detail by Dr. Kaye, then I scheduled my follow up and I have to say that the staff was very patient with me. Iâm in the military and didnât have many dates that I would be available. The staff worked with my scheduled and even worked me in at the end of the week.
To the point physician. He is easy to talk to and easy to understand. He took his time explaining things and listened to my concerns.
Felt like dr is more concerned with his cosmetic rejuvenation practice rather than taking care of my urology problem. Felt hustled, and left without answers to the questions I entered with. Walked out bewildered, what did I just have happen? Would NEVER recommend
Very poor overall. Wait time is horrorendus. 330 appointment 445 is when saw him. I would recommend seeing another doctor. Avoid if possible. You'll be glad you did
Long wait time for 2 minute of his time. Very rude dr and staff. Canceled 2nd appointment to see another dr. He would not prescribe medicine. He wanted to do surgery with no pain medicine.
we had to wait over an hour to see him then he was in and out less then two minutes, he is rude, thinks he is better, kathleen has to be his daughter in billing because she is just like him rude and worthless
he is so rude thinks he is above everyone else, has us come back many times, takes our money patients appointments on top of each other the staff is rude ,especially kathleen never ever will go back ,the nurse is the nicest of them all cannot stand talking to him the way he talks down to us he trained the staff because they are just like him plain rude
my husband went to see kaye ,kept going back several times .paid as usual like they want us to but when we over paid they did not return the money ,i had to fax what the insurance paid and what we paid ,never heard from them kathleen that is they put me on hold for several minutes then they put the machine on telling me to leave a message ,i told them they can keep my money i guess they need it a lot more then we do ,it was just a few dollars but it makes me wonder how many times they have done it to others it does add up since they do that to others ,i should get paid for doing kathleens job ,she can't add and subtract she must be related to kaye he cannot figure things out either, that is why we had to keep going back ,but the good news is we found a smart doctor who is very smart and has a good heart just the oppisite of kaye.never ever will we go back by the way their billing department is smart and very thoughtful, nothing like kathleen
if you want a excellent doctor don't come here makes you come back several times more money in his pocket and still no answer mean ,rude ,hateful, all i can say his wife must wear the pants in the family that is why he is so right down mean
His office and billing staff is a total joke. They will lie to you and make you pay up front, bill your insurance leaving you hanging with a huge bill. They have no moral compass especially Kathleen. Not sure how she can sleep at night. Run as fast as you can or plan to get hosed.
this doctor is so rude always late jumps into conclusions we kept going back to get results he did not know what the problem is ,he says it could be this it could be that we got tired of waiting around to see what he found out ,we stopped going there we got our answer from a very excellent doctor my problem is fixed thank god. he has such a ego and i really do not know why he is nothing.
this so called doctor is above everyone else so he thinks, obnoxious, rude ,when we ask a question he acted like he was so much better ,still has not figured out what the problem is after so many visits more money in his pocket , i guess being a doctor it is ok,to be rude and hateful to sick patients.pocket never again will i go there i guess he likes being called a doctor is great but i have a much better name for him.
Asked for renewal of prescription and there was no response to pharmacy after 3 attempts to renew or extend prescription.
After emergency surgery w/Dr Kaye he refused to give me pain meds while at home waiting to pass stone with a ureter aren't places inside me. Unbelievable. His staff told me to go to er because he is strict w/pain meds. Well what about when you are in pain???
My husband needed to see a urologist ASAP, as he was having symptoms of a kidney stone and after calling around to multiple places, dr. Kaye was the only one we could get into the same day. Now we know why...my husband had multiple appointments and at each one he waited for over an hour in the lobby, and once he was brought back to the room he waited an additional hour before seeing the dr, The receptionist also told him it was very important that he is on time to his appointment...really?! My husband is an easy going friendly guy who never has a bad thing to say about anyone, and after his experience with this office he has only bad things to say. They were rude, made him feel unimportant, and after waiting HOURS to see the doctor, he was rushed and was made to feel like an inconvenience. We will never go back but now are dealing with the bill... My insurance needs info from them before they can pay it and after multiple faxes and phone calls from insurance and myself, they will not return any calls! Calls that are to get them paid! It's ridiculous.
The office staff is so very rude and uncaring. They double and triple book patients and then make you wait forever. They cancel appts without notifying patient. The have the non customer service attitude of a corporation. If you can get past the rude office staff, Dr. is very nice and courteous.
Irresponsible, arrogant, uncaring
If you don't mind waiting an hour, and have no problem never being addressed by name, this may be the doctor for you. I can't comment about the quality of care because I walked out of his office without having been treated.
Dr Kaye's staff, with the exception of 1 nurse, were rude. The office was filled with elderly people who waited for the dr, whose nurse announced that he was running 2-1/2 hours late, and that he usually only ran 1-1/2 hours late. One man who complained he was sore from sitting there was told by this person that EVERYONE else was sitting there, too, so he should stop complaining. Dr. Kaye did not introduce himself, and told me he was in a hurry. He had no time for any bedside manner for a patient who was frightened and obviously very anxious. He did a poor job of communicating with the patient. I would never recommend this Dr. to anyone.
He told me I had interstitial cystitis (I.C.) causing my repeated urinary tract infections (UTIs). He had me come in for the 1st of 4 proposed infusions of DMSO. It was a horrid nightmare. I could not hold it for the required time. I had bladder spasms as a result of it for 2 days.I quit Dr. Kaye & I went to another urologist who told me I do NOT have I.C., and proved it by a showing me a list of symptoms in a medical book for I.C., none of which I presented. My problem was a lazy bladder that was not emptying. I was given medication to aid in fully voiding my bladder and instructions to void more frequently, and to drink more water, since it appeared that I was not ingesting enough water. I'm cured and thrilled. I think Kaye's in too much of a hurry, and I am glad I never went back for the rest of his house of horrors DMSO infusions. When I asked my pet duck what he thought of all this he said, "Quack! Quack!" Thank you for reading this.
Office is using new electronic system which makes wait a little longer I understand. Dr. Kaye well worth the wait. Very caring and bright. He helped me understand my problem and gave me very logical advice I could understand.
totally lacks bedside manner, rushes diagnosis, incomplete patient counsel, total lack of follow up. I'm sure he assumes I have died by now and thanks to another doctor, he's wrong.
Dr Kaye is very caring and precise. He is confident in his decision making and a great surgeon. Wait time ranges from 20 minutes to 45 minutes. I visit this office approximately 4x/ year. I regard Dr. Kaye highly as one of the best urologic surgeons in the valley.
I wish I saw him first. He fixed my problem caused by another urologist. He knew what the problem was in a minute and was right! Highly recommend.
Terrible doctor. Gave wrong info to my husband regarding results of surgery. Wouldn't go to him if I was dieing. Doesn't have any compassion for patients. Waited 2 hrs. in waiting room for my appt. Receptionist was mean and demanded my husband's ss# before I could see doctor, and also demanded payment even though I had insurance. Found out I overpaid my bill and then had to wait weeks to get a refund. Their office is a laugh.
I was told by a friend that he was the best for prostate cancer. I had a Davinci prostatectomy and am absolutely perfect within a few weeks of surgery. I never had any pain or any problems. Highly recommend!
A friend told me to see Dr. Kaye after i was misdiagnosed by another Scottsdale urologist. In a very short period of time he outlined an evaluation and potential treatments that he would offer, things never mentioned by my previous urologist. I wish I would have seen him first. My treatment is working and I am feeling better after suffering a year.
Excellent office. Dr. Kaye gave me excellent advice that my previous urologist didn't think of. Tremendous help!
I am in the healthcare field and have been impressed with Dr. Kaye's skill and efficiency in my care. His experience is very comforting. He did more to help me understand my condition in five minutes than others that I have seen. I highly recommend him!!
I had heard he was the best Davinci surgeon in Phoenix. When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer by my urologist I went to see him. He was very caring and thorough. Within two weeks of my surgery I was back to normal. Amazing surgeon!
I am a nurse at SHC and bring my mother to Dr. Kaye. He is well known for excellent outcomes. He is direct and to the point which I appreciate. His clinical care is the tops!
He saved me from having an operation that another doctor recommended. Very understandable
No Listen to patientWrong DiagnosticDon't take a time to seat down with the patientNo Expert as urologistJust looking for moneyNo good service
He is not careful with the patient. He come with the conclusion very fast with a lot mistake. He don't listen to the patient. He is not expert in his field as urologist.I changed the doctor recently and find out very good doctor with great diagnostic and understanding. Please don't waist your time with Dr. Kaye. Try to find good mature doctor.
Office was willing to see me wheen others wouldn't. He saved me from having an operation that another doctor said I needed.
My original urologist was worthless. I contacted Dr. Kaye's office on a Wednesday. He saw me on Thursday. His staff scheduled follow ups on Friday. I had tests run on Monday and he did my surgery (prostatectomy)on Tuesday. The results were excellent and I am now three years cancer free.He is the best! I recommend him to anyone that will listen to me.
He was rude and made me feel like an idiot, he kept winking at me while telling me that my issues were most likely all in my head. He was not caring and kind of a creep. I will never return to his office to see him or any other Doctor there. The staff and nurses were not any nicer than he was. He has given me a horrible impression on Scottsdale doctors. The wait took over an hour even with an appointment and being 20 minutes early.
Office was willing to squeeze me in same day for an urgent problem. Very direct and understandable. Was highly recommended to me by a friend and deservedly so.
Dr. Kaye absolutely has the worst front office staff anywhere. What a waist of a brilliant medical practitioner. If you object to being stacked up waiting to get into an appointment that has multiple bookings, his staff will make the experience as difficult as possible. Once I asked to be cancelled after waiting well beyond my appointment time. The front desk person had the nerve to tell me that if I left I would be charged for a missed appointment. I tried to discuss this with Dr. Kaye several times, but he has no interest in patient relations.
