Great experience with Dr. Mitchell Cohen MD!

I had major back surgery and was in the hospital 5 days. He was there first thing every morning even over the week end to check on me. I'd say he is pretty much a perfectionist when it. Comes to his practice.

This surgeon has a very good bed side manner and takes the time to explain everything is as much detail as necessary to make you feel calm and relaxed. I defiantly would recommend this Doctor to anyone that required back surgery. The office staff are polite and responsive. Dr Cohen and nurses have always responded to phone calls in a timely manner. DR. Cohen has called us after normal business hours to follow up because he really cares.

Doctor advocates for insurance companies not patients. He is quick to under diagnosis patients and minimize recommended tests and treatments. He rushes through appointments spending 2-5 mins per patients so he's usually ahead of schedule. Terrible listener, cuts you off, and minimizes patients' pain/symptoms. This doctor is more concerned about his own time versus quality medical care for helping his patients get better.

Dr. Cohen is AWESOME!! He makes you feel so comfortable, answers ALL your questions, gives detail descriptions and explanations!! The BEST SURGEON EVER!! He performed 2 back surgeries on me and he was with me every step of the way all the way thru to my therapy. The staff is great!! Miriam & Joleen are extremely helpful and kind. You need any paperwork, they are on it. They give courtesy appointment calls, answer your questions and just plain helpful. I would recommend Dr. Cohen to everyone. My husband might need back surgery and I am hoping he excepts his medical insurance :) Dr. Cohen and his staff have truly been a BLESSINGS upon me and my family. I know they will be one upon you as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cohen for 7 years. His staff has always been professional and accurate. The thing that impresses me most about Dr. Cohen is that he is an expert in what he does, he looks at cat scans and MRIs and can immediately diagnose exactly what is going on and determine the course of treatment. There is never any "well, let's try this and see what happens", it is always "this is what is going on and this is what we are going to do". I have full confidence in Dr. Cohen and recommend him highly.

I believe Dr. Cohen is a great Orthopedic Surgeon. It has been over 5 years sense I had an L5 S1 Microdiscectomy to remove a 14mm bulge and 3 fragments from my spine. He has always been very attentive, knowledgable about what had to be done to fix me, and put me at ease about what I was going through.

Dr. Mitchell Cohen was rude, shot fused, seemed pre occupied. He never opened my file, spent fifteen min with me. Got upset several times with me because I was in pain and could not move my head far enough. Told me to force it even if it was painful. I honestly felt like I was being abused in his office. I cried. I will never ever go back there again. The guy is obviously way to busy. Do yourself a favor and do not go to him. He is also very unprofessional. ahhhhhh

after 2 failed surgeries from a previous doctor, Dr,cohen was able to suspensefuly perform a 2 part 360 fusion on my l5 s1. he was very attenitive honest and reassuring in every point of his practice. even going as far as explaining the reason hes doin the surgery this was because it would be the way he would opperate on his wn familly. after being alive for 17 years and going through multiple spinal surgeries and procedures he was the first one to notice that i have an extra vertebrae. i truly belive he is one of the few who still cares,
