Dr. Mitchell Wayne Hecht, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hecht for nearly 30 years now, and I credit him with saving my father’s life during a visit many years ago by catching a heart issue that other specialists had missed. He’s very thorough and takes the time to listen to your concerns. Dee and Jerri (PA’s) are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and they truly care about your wellbeing. They’re like family! Best to listen to a long time patient when it comes to reviews!

Phone call gone bad - I called Dr. Hecht's office several times throughout the day to verify I could come in for a shingles vaccination. The phones rolled over the answering service during each attempt. As a result I did not go in for my vaccine not knowing if the office was open or not. I called the next morning to inquire as to why I was unable to reach anyone at the office and explain why I did not show up for my vaccination. Dee St Claire answered the phone. Unsolicited she stated "I'm totally burnt out, like everyone else, working in healthcare, and I hope Dr Hecht fires me". When I tried to explain why I was calling, she was totally hostile and unprofessional. I called back to explain how I was spoken to by Dee, the office manger supported Dee. As a registered nurse and medical professional for over 40 years, I've never heard anyone speak to a patient like that. This simple situation for a shingles vaccine turned into a total disgrace.

We have been patients at this office for at least 17 years. Things have always been fine until this year. At our last visit recently, all Dr. Hecht could do was talk about his political views and his stance on COVID19 and lecturing on avoiding people and family at all cost and wearing a mask even in your on home. He made sure HE would get his vaccine before anyone else would. (Well we would never get anyway so who cares!) Politics and personal view points have no place in this environment! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! We came for a medical visit not a Town Hall Meeting. I would advise Dr. Hecht keep his personal opinions to himself.

Dr. Hecht cares about his patients and is dedicated to healing and maintaining the health of those who come to him.

Dr. Hecht has been my primary care doctor for about 10 years. He has great bedside manor, listens well, is very accurate on his diagnosis, but dont expect a lot of chit chat. Tired of the medical system racket and run around where you have to make multiple appointments racking up co-pays? Wont find that here. Only good ole fashioned personal care. Dee and Jerri are the two best P.A.'s in the business! Fast, efficient, friendly, and make visting the doctor a hassel-free experience.

Dr. Hecht is so genuinely caring and interested in seeing patients feel better and live healthier lives. He was "spot on" when I had a very difficult and painful medical issue going on. He has also made recommendations for vitamins and supplements that would naturally support my body and health, and they've made a big difference in my life. Dr. Hecht and his staff, Dee and Gerri are a friendly, caring team who always look for ways to assist you. I highly recommend Dr. Hecht as my physician.

I credit Dr. Hecht and his amazing staff for helping my mother survive when the odds didn't look good. Through him/staff she was able to assemble a tremendous team to take her through the process of discovery and recovery that she required. I go to him and I want my children to go to him.

I would not consider any other Internest. He is the best of the best!

Dr Hecht and his staff are incredible. They make you feel like you are their only patient. After being welcomed by Dee and chit chatting I felt like I was at home with my best friend. My wait was less than ten minutes and I was the last appointment of the day. My visit with Dr. Hecht was beyond thorough. He went head to toe and made sure to check everything despite I am youir typical healthy patient. The time he took to explain everything and make sure you don't feel over whelmed was incredible. I am int he medical field and to run into a physician to sit and take the time to talk to you as a peer and the bedside manner was perfect. I am looking forward to referring to all I know.

Dr. Hecht was recommended by our family doctor who changed his practice after the AHC started. We will never go anywhere now. We trust what he says 100%
