Dr. Mitchell Mark Langbart, MD

I am a Registered Nurse. I worked with Dr. Langbart a few years back. He is a gifted psychiatrist. I have never worked with anyone else as intelligent or as dedicated to his patients who are truly seeking help.

Typical egotistical doctor who thinks he knows everything. He doesn't listen at all. He doesn't respect the patients own ideas. What he does is dangerous and irresponsible. His ego is overinflated and he lacks good judgment which is blinded by narcissism. He clearly has control issues which are demonstrated by his inability to acknowledge the patients own feelings as legitimate.

Dr Langbart, not only "listens" but he listens with compassion, delivering his educated opinion with empathy, and understanding. He validates your concerns and provides support to both your metal and physical state with care, dignity, and knowledge.

I went to him for about 6 months. He was a nice man. He was sympathetic in lots of areas. But do not challenge him in ay way. He HATES PHONES! and I had to cancel and reschedule an appt. that I told him I might have to. He did not call me back. waited a week and called again. Then called again in 2 weeks. It took him 6 weeks to get back to me. When I did see him I asked him very nicely what the rules are so that I can understand. Because I can have severe anxiety(or I fear that). I want to know what I can count on. He asked what I meant and I told him that it took 6 weeks for him to get back to me and I was seeing him every 2 weeks. He flipped and said to me "your keeping track of me now? and I have long since had to make myself justify my actions" and he was consciously trying to control the anger that was erupting inside of him. I wasn't even challenging him. I was asking him.

Great Doctor best I have ever seen.

I can only say miracle worked. Correct diagnosis in five minutes AFTER five years of people guessing

Great doctor easy to talk with, puts you at ease. Listens to you. Over all good doctor.

Compassionate, engaging, nonjudgmental, positive, open, flexible. You feel much better after each visit.

I came to know Dr. Langbart when he was the head psychiatrist at Auburn C. F. I was doing a 23 yr sentence at the time and about almost 7 or 8 years into it. To say I was a chronic disciplinary problem would put it mildly. I suffered from depression also. Dr. Langbart and his staff, especially John Mahoney and Ken Wasneski helped me to find stability and hope. They got me started on a path to change. Today I am drug free(illicit drugs), off parole , married 13 years and a business owner. Had I not met Dr. Langbart I doubt my life would be this good.
