Dr. Mohammad M. Ahmed, MD

It dawns on me, after being asked if I knew a good doctor, how much I am missing my normal. I started my journey with Dr. Ahmed mid life telling him, I WANT TO GROW OLD WITH YOU....every phase of seasoning. We laughed but did the same. A recent move to Alaska has put us in the position of starting over again with new everything. Not a complaint, but certainly missing the best. This man really listens to you, has your best interest at heart. My last visit I realized how this office has grown and kept up with the technology. He now has a physicians assistant which speaks volumes about this man, yet he still had time for me...never made me feel rushed or like a number. Looking around with mournful eyes everyone working, giving the best of themselves like the rest of us, sharing their talents and time to help others. I value my relationships with people and he has been an important one. Never forget the staff that surrounds him, they are the backbone of support. I Highly recommend Dr.… Ahmed. Having said that lets not forget we are humans ....do not put one on a pedestal but realize we live in an imperfect world. Always be your best self too !!! Arlene Brinckman

Dr. Ahmed has been my primary care doctor for more than 10 years. He is very thoughtful and really listens to his patients. He spends whatever time is needed to give you information in easy to understand terms. He is a very caring doctor. He goes out of his way to make his patients comfortable. If I have an appointment I usually get in early. He also has Saturday appointments that come in very handy for working folks I recently moved to Florida. I wanted to take Doctor Ahmed with me as I know I will not find that quality of a doctor anywhere else. Dr. Ahmed I miss you!

I have been seeing Dr. Ahmed for about 10 years. He is always thorough and involved. He is a very kind man who I believe cares greatly about his patients and their health. I highly recommend him to anybody, and I am grateful that he is my doctor.

I drive all the way from Illinois to see Dr. Ahmed. Could not ask for a better doctor. He listens - and even asks more and more questions until he is sure he has gotten all the information he needs. He never rushes you. He listens to your concerns. He genuinely cares.

DR Ahmed has been my MD for years. He left Belleville and I had to get another MD. My health went down hill. I could not get any of the MD's to listen to me. I ended up in ER and then Open heart surgery the next day. The one MD said I was fat and there was nothing wrong with my heart. If I had Dr Ahmed this would have never have happened. He keeps looking until he finds out what is going on. I moved over to the St. Lukes area and was thrilled when he said he was taking new patients. He listens, he cares, if he doesn't think he can handle it, he refers to another MD. It I want to try new medication he will tell my why or why not it will work and the side effects. I feel like I can tell him anything. When I call and tell the staff what is going on they are very flexible with the scheduling. I referred a girlfriend and she said he called her personally with lab results and what meds he wanted her to start. She was amazed. She said Dr don't call thier patients. I said this one does. I call… him my friend.

My mother was in the hospital several years ago(in Illinois) and Dr.Ahmed was on for the weekend. This was the first time meeting him. He was GREAT! He is very caring and his bedside manner is the best. Most of our family and several friends changed to him. We all followed him to St.Louis. He is the BEST.

When I switched health care providers at work, I could no longer see my previous physician (same office as Ahmed), so the office recommended Dr. Ahmed. He's a much more attentive and thorough individual than my previous physician. I'm not sure how I could have a better doctor. Very pleased. Would recommend to others!
