Surgery was a success as far as he was concerned however the patient was paralyzed and brain dead. After telling the family that my mom was paralyzed and wouldn’t be capable of speech he still wanted to act optimistic. There is such a thing as quality of life. Also the fact that she got MRSA after the procedure apparently wasn’t his fault, well she didn’t have it prior. I advise all who read this to ask questions and think about how close you are to Manhattan doctors and hospitals. My mom’s procedure was only supposed to take 1-2 hours after more then 8 hours later and her coding twice during which no one gave us any update as to what was going on she was left a vegetable.

Dr. Moussavi was instrumental in saving my husband from the serious effects of a cerebral hemorrhage last year. Thanks to his expertise, delicate hands of gold and his amazing bedside manner, we were able to get through this difficult time in our lives. Excellent professional, the best, nicest, kindest, caring doctor there is!

He is the best doctor I have ever had. I couldnt move at all due to some back pain and was not able to do any thing. With his diagnosis and medications, my status changed very rapidly and turned into normal very fast.

Dr. Moussavi did surgery on my grandma after she had a stroke. They waited 3 hours after the diagnosis to do the surgery, which was irresponsible as time is of the essence for preserving brain function. She had a follow-up appointment at his office today; she was getting her BP taken when his staff told her the doctor wouldn't see her because they didn't have her medicare card, even though they had her medicare number and she was his surgery patient. He was so rude, arrogant and helpful. This is no way to treat any patient of his, no less an 80+ year old woman who has paralysis and cannot speak.

He is the best doctor I have ever seen.I'm gone to see him for last 5 years .I was one of his first patient.His diagnostic skills is amazingly accurate. He is compassionate, with the approach to patient which should be an example for the others working in this profession.I wish he could be my family doctor
