Dr. Khan and his staff are awesome, they are very compassionate and efficient also just friendly. They take time to explain things where you can understand. Dr. Khan also gives his patients his personal cell phone number in case you have any problems. I had to text him several times during chemo, and he answered promptly when he could.

Dr Mohammad Y Khan is the most caring and compassionate doc I have ever met ,he doesn’t do the 5 min hello ,how you doing ,see you in 3 month routine.He Listens and for that I am so grateful. Myra Jo Boozer.

He started out doing good but then he changed. He asked me if I had had chemo and radiation and he is the one who sent me to have it done. I saw him every week and was in the hospital for 62 days because the treatments weakened my immune system and I got pneumonia. Also the radiation to my lung messed up my throat muscles and now I have a PEG tube. I think he prescribed too much and didn't take into consideration that I had COPD bad before Lung cancer. I don;t think he even looked at the Pet Scan the last time. He glanced over it and if I hadn't got a copy of it I would not be going to another dr now. I am glad I did. I had lab work and the new doctors office called me the same day and said I needed 3 units of blood. Dr. Khan's office would have probably not even looked at the results - too busy and all confused on who is who and who had what done to them.

Dr. Khan has been my oncologist for the past two years and I highly recommend him. He has a very caring and understanding way about him. Shows very much interest in his patients and their illness.

Going through cancer is difficult, to say the least. It is important for an Oncologist to establish a caring demeanor early in the physician/patient relationship. Dr. Khan and his staff have excelled here and I am very happy with my dealings with he and his office.
