Dr Quader repaired my mitral valve in 2007 and did an outstanding job. The time he spent with me before surgery gave me confidence in his abilities and I was not disappointed with the outcome. While in the hospital, I witnessed firsthand that he does not tolerate even minor lapses in care by the staff and frequently follows-up during off hours to get detailed reports on the status of his patients. His attention to detail was a great comfort to me and he did a fantastic job. Thanks Dr. Quader!

I went to Dr. Quader suffering from aortic stenosis and an aortic aneurysm. He was highly recommended by my cardiologist. Others I talked to, including hospital nurses and medical office staff members, spoke highly of his surgical and people skills. He explained my condition carefully, answered all my questions, then did the surgery, repairing the aneurysm and replacing my aortic valve with a mechanical valve. He visited me several times while I was hospitalized, more than I expected. He was always cheerful, confident and encouraging. I recovered quickly with no significant complications. I would recommend him highly.

On Dec 13 2007 Dr. Quader saved my life. My aorta valve had a major leak, and he repaired it by implanting a mechanical valve. I have no idea why I was assigned to him. I was in the UNMC system and he was on their staff at the time. In my opinion, there is no surgeon on earth superior to Dr. Quader. Thank you Doctor. There is no way I could ever repay you for the gift of life. Your staff, your collegues, and UNMC were all above excellent.

When I was diagnosed with several life threatening heart problems I began searching for a surgeon. I talked to three different surgeons and within 10 minutes of first talking to Dr. Quader I knew he was the surgeon that I would feel comfortable with literally having my heart in his hands. His demeanor is comforting and friendly he is not arrogant or condescending. His resume/experience is outstanding and he happily and thoroughly answered any and all questions I had.

I always have had complete confidence in Dr. Quader. His explanation of what would happen during heart surgery was a great help. He is professional and caring. What else is there? Plus, his staff is excellent

I underwent triple by-pass heart surgery by Dr Quader at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE 13 Oct 2009. The entire experience was nothing short of superb. Dr. Quader spent 30 minutes in the initial office visit explaining my options and detailing his recommendation of by-pass surgery. I am the son and grandson of physicians so I was very critical of Dr. Quader's evaluation and wanted to have answers to all of my questions. The operation went very well. I was off the ventilator within two hours following the six hours procedure. Within twelve hours I as sitting in a chair in ICU receiving a bath. I spent six days in the hospital in the cardiac ward recuperating before being released to continue convalesing at home. Dr. Quader visited my hospital room daily, often times twice daily and would remain as long as I has discussion points, typically 15-20 minutes per visit. I would rate the overall experience nothing short of excellent. Dr. Quader is a gifted surgeon with a bedside manner that quickly establishes a positive rapport with his patient and family members. During my hospital stay I had three RN's state to me that I had the best heart surgeon in Omaha as my doctor.
