Dr. Monica Mary Reynolds, MD

Had an excellent first exam visit with Dr. Reynolds. She was professional, knowledgeable & kind. She willingly answered my questions, thoroughly explained my test results, and spoke in a clear & unhurried manner. Very short wait time to see her (& I was lucky to get an appt. within 24 hours due to a cancellation) & when she arrived she had obviously spent the time prior studying my EKG & holter monitor tests as she immediately gave me my results, knowing it would calm me. I highly recommend her & the staff at Cardiology Assoc. Everyone was cordial & professional in manner & Dr. Reynolds is a gem.

Reading all these reviews I felt exactly the same way. Dr Reynolds acts like she doesnt want to be there, is miserable, and she had no sympathy or interst in my issues. She over simplified things and minimized my pain. DON'T GO TO HER SHE'S HORRIBLE!

My primary care doctor recommended Dr. Reynolds as I needed to see a cardiologist. She was excellent. She spent a lot of time with me going over everything in my file, starting with cardiology. ( most of my doctors are from Columbia Pres. so she has access ) She even made some great suggestions, including visual, for my back problems. She was really pleasant and kind and spoke to me like a human being, not like a robot, as I find with a some doctors. She also was not pushing unnecessary medicine. She made me feel very comfortable, relaxed which enabled me to get all the answers I needed. She called me later to let me know that she had gotten blood results from my primary care and that everything was fine. I was pleasantly surprised as I was not expecting that call. I am 62 and she has to be the rudest medical person I have ever met, she has no tact in dealing with a patient

Seriously----Dr. Reynolds may be the most sarcastic person I have ever met. Every comment was cynical---like this whole visit was freaking joke. But she wasnt even funny. She made fun of me personally right to my face I don't care that you don't get paid "what you used to" or "that you didnt go on vacation" Also--She spent only 5 minutes with me and did an ultrasound and billed me over $2000. Cmon..really?? Good luck with that

She never listened to my heartbeat or took my pulse, but her first words were well you know you are xx lbs overweight, and that is not good for you. Hey I know what I am I came to you for a rapid heartbeat not weight control

what a mean mean person..how dose a person like this stay in business????? She yelled at her secretary and medical assistant right before seeing me so I knew it was going to be a bad experience...I later approached her secretary who said she was quitting next week because Dr. Reynolds is so verbally abusive...She did not engage me at all during our visit and spent the entire time looking at her darn phone! She also looks nothing like the picture posted here (that must be from like 50 years ago..LOL)..I have very little faith is this woman treating me so I am going elsewhere

Just stay away from this doctor. She should go into research or something because she is nasty and its not just me who knows this everyone I ask about her agrees she treats her patients terribly. I won't detail what she said and actually threw at me because no one would believe it and I am still considering reporting her. Nasty nasty woman who disguises it well with new patients.

My mother sees Dr. Reynolds 6 months a year and I just went with her last month. I felt no warmth from Dr. Reynolds and she still has not returned any of my telephone calls. She even snapped/yelled at me when I politely asked her to explain why my mother did not need medication for her heart condition. She also refused to see my mother in the hospital this summer and had a stranger see her instead. I have asked around and heard similar stories so am not surprised by the negative reviews below. The other cardiologists in the office are much better I am told.

Dr. Reynolds takes the time to communicate with patients and explain and/or answer questions. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I have been a patient of hers for many years. I also had an opportunity to see her in the ER with a friend's mother several years ago and she was quite impressive. I recommend her often .
