My husband and I are patients of Dr. Cortes and we`ve had very good experience, nothing similar to what other members describe above. There is always a wait at Del Mar Clinic, regardless of what doctor your are seeing, although I think it is getting a bit better. Dr. Cortes has always been very attentive towards us, going as far as giving us his cell phone number if we need to reach him during the weekend. He`s energetic and seems very knowledgeable. Once I had a bad strep throat and he actually called 2 days later to see how I was doing! We are pleased with his care and have gotten very positive results.

My husband and I both saw Dr. Monica Moore at the Carondelet Rita Ranch location for physicals and lab work. We had both been putting off going to the doctor for some time. We were immediately impressed with her bedside manner and how she really took the time to listen and educate us. She made me feel like I was her only appointment of the day. She really puts you at ease. Very friendly staff as well. We highly recommend Dr. Monica Moore.

ok, so I would NOT go to see Dr.Ariel Cortes. He is not as good as he would like to think. He puts down is patients, and makes them feel stupid. He talks about them behide their backs, about your personal life, medical problems, and sometimes even the way

Agree with previous review. Little to no respect for patients and appointment times. Staff is fearful. Appears this doc has military experience - perhaps he would be happier in the military versus working with patinets that are not mandated to his "car

I can only say, that she has such a good way of making you feel well and understands you so much, that I feel very lucky to have her as my Doctor.

At Del Mar Medical Clinic, you really can't go wrong with any of the docs, but Dr Moore definitely stands out. She is caring and kind and spends time with her patients to clearly understand their concerns and to celebrate their recoveries as well! I don't know if she is accepting new patients now or not, but she is really top notch. I, myself, have been seeing her for more than a decade. Can't say enough good stuff about her.
