Caring and Knowledgeable

Dr Schoenhage literally saved my son’s life thru an emergency c-section after his heart had stopped while in labor. Then when I began to hemorrhage, she then saved my life. She is a wonderful, knowledgeable doctor with a terrific bedside manner. I can not recommend her enough.

She cares about her patient and works hard to provide excellent healthcare. She is very knowledgeable.

Dr. Schoenhage is the best in her field. She takes her time to establish a well thought out treatment plan for each patient. Her goal is for healthy mom and baby. With Dr. Schoenhage you're getting a very knowledgeable, caring, professional, and trustworthy doctor. I was extremely high risk and she took great care of me and my baby boy. My c section was a great experience. I had a great recovery. To top it she is amazing with a scalpel. No scar.

I loved her. Very thorough, thoughtful, and fun to be around. She put my mind at ease when she told me that she wanted to do a c-section and thought about me, my daughter and my husband. I would recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Shoenhage is a great Doctor. I was in the hospital for 2 months 1/2 with high risk pregnancy, she was very attentive, informative, explained everything so well. She did so much research on my disorder and saved not only my life but my sons life. Her words were "I want a healthy mom, healthy baby". She was realistic with what the outcome could be, (which was not a great one) but we had so much faith in god and in her, that everything had a great outcome.

Dr. Schoenhage is a truly caring human being who does her best for her patients. She is honest and that can be hard when you have a negative diagnosis, but she is the doctor you want as she will go the extra mile. Always a pleasant interaction with her and OBX group.

I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. I saw her today and she was completely rude, refused to write a prescription, stormed out of the room while I was still talking. She also asked the nurse how far along I was why I was having to have NST's done and what my blood sugars were, like I was a dog and unable to answer for myself,she has a major attitude for no reason. She acted like a 16 year old guest on Maury. It was awful and I agree with every other one star review here about her. She looked right through me, had no human emotion and acted like she completely hates her job. She's the first rude doctor I have come in contact w at Obstetrix and I hope I NEVER see her again.

After reading the other reviews, I think it's important to think about what you want from a doctor. If you're not interested in knowing whether there are defects, or serious abnormalities, you may want to be upfront about that, or just see a midwife. This doctor is extremely knowledgable, and will discuss all testing and screening options, which I wanted, having survived a devastating diagnosis with a past pregnancy. And contrary to what other reviews stated, when I declined a test, she DID NOT push it any further. I think of doctors as experts in their field, and she gave me all the information for me to make fully informed decisions. Additionally, she was very personable, and put me right at ease. I feel fortunate to have found her, as other doctors in the area weren't managing my care properly, nor seemed to have consistent information/advice for me. If you're looking for a maternal-fetal expert in the Tucson area, look no further!

This doctor and obstetrix helped me through one of the worse time in my life. If it weren't for her caring manner, professional care, and competence I don't think I would have made it through. Before you jump to conclusions about people ask other doctors, nurses, about her. You will find her reputaion is fantastic! I will go back for every pregnancy and request her.
