Dr. Syed lacks basic respect for his patient, especially female. I have read some bad reviews online in regard to this but it wasn't until I went in to his office twice did I realize those comments are actually quite nice compared to how he treated me.

He is a wonderful doctor, I like and respect him. He has done an amazing job treating my diabetes. I would and have recommended him highly!

I understand he must take his job seriously, but it's like sitting in a room with a robot who only speaks at you, not with you. Not very approachable or friendly.

Very good endocrinologist, takes his time and is thorough with examination. Looks at your blood sugar logs and is very good at figuring out dosing for insulin of T1D. Very friendly office staff also.

The one star I had to leave was for the GREAT receptionist, and the only positive part of my visit. Doctor does not take time to talk to you & learn your history. Cold hearted, doesn't speak with you, only at you. Didn't smile once, and when leaving after my first visit of meeting him, he directed me to the exit & walked away. Tried changing all regiments first appointment. Also I was told to gain better control of blood sugar numbers, when he didn't see ANY proof of my recent blood sugar numbers. Will not be returning in the future.

2:30 appt scheduled months ago - checked in and paid copay - was NOT told appts were delayed let alone running an HOUR behind. Discovered this after waiting 30 minutes with no updates whatsoever!!! I do NOT recommend considering they can’t even inform patients!!!

He has helped keep my A1C under 7.0 even though I've been diabetic for years.

Went to the appointment accompanied by my husband. Dr. Syed would speak only to him. I say and described my symptoms for my appointment and he spoke only to my husband and only asked him questions. Was not knowledgeable at all regarding thyroid disease, which is not really helpful coming from an endocrinologist. I left the appointment in tears. I've never felt so disrespected as a woman or a patient.
