This office is completely dysfunctional. Calling them feels like dealing with a scrapyard, not a medical practice. From the first interaction, the staff were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment with the Cardiovascular Institute of America weeks in advance. A few days before the visit, they required a patient questionnaire and demanded full payment upfront, with no option to pay in person or with cash. I paid only because I was given no alternative. Then, just hours before the appointment, they canceled on me. Despite multiple calls and long hold times, I never received a refund for the advance office fee they charged. This office operates in chaos and lacks basic organization and accountability. If you value your time, your money, or basic professionalism, avoid this place.

I recently had an angiogram with Dr. Velusamy at Memorial Hospital. My experience with Dr. Velusamy and his team was outstanding and professional from initial consultation through post-op. His and their professionalism and competence at this time of anxiousness for me gave me a much-needed feeling of confidence and calmness. Thanks to you all.

Both the staff and the doctor have excellent bed side manner. My veins are fixed now. No more leaking veins. I am highly satisfied with their service. I would highly recommend them and I am really happy with the care I have received.

Dr. Velusamy has been wonderful. He has been careful to explain everything to me as we went along in my diagnosis and care. He is extremely knowledgeable and always has the answer to my question. When it came time for him to do a heart catheterization, I had no hesitation because I had developed complete confidence in him. This confidence was completely justified as the procedure was done painlessly and he explained his findings to me afterwards in understandable terms. He is a real "patient's doctor". I feel very lucky to be under his care and I would recommend him highly for his professional skill and his empathy.
