Dr. Y Nabil Yakub, MD

Dr. Yakub was courteous and understanding. He was patient and allowed me to assist with the decisions of my care. Also, he explained everything to me, and kept me informed of the plan of care. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Dr. Yakub is a hospitalist at Inova Fairfax Hospital. I was referred to him by my primary doctor. I can only find positive words for this physician. He was very responsive to my worries and listened patiently while I described what was happening to me and to my concerns that I had already visited several doctors, each giving me a different diagnosis. I felt that I was the only person that mattered that day. He was compassionate, soft-spoken and very professional. He spent considerable time with me and his diagnosis ended up being accurate. I was very relieved when I finally found out what was causing my problems after many months of worry. I am fortunate to have visited this doctor and would wish that more could be like him.

This doctor is a grand example of issue within our health care system. I have NEVER seen such a poor bedside manner and lack of respect to his patients and refuses to answer questions and concerns of his patients. Lack of correct diagnosis and poor excuse for doctor. I would not even take an animal to see him. what a shame he is allowed to practice medicine any where on anybody
