Dr. Pavuluri is founder of the Pediatric Brain Research and Intervention Center and Berger Colbeth Chair and Professor in Child psychiatry. She founded the pediatric mood disorders clinic in 2000 that draws patients from 29 states (logged so far). She is internationally known researcher, a preeminent scientist that was one of the very first to map brain circuits in developing children with mood instability, specifically in bipolar disorder and ADHD. Dr. Pavuluri is highly published, and won several National prizes for her work in serious psychiatric illnesses. She mentored several trainees that went on to become mentors themselves. She has 25 plus years of experience in treating young children.
