Dr. Elias is in my opinion simply the best. He was my liver transplant surgeon and although I am sure the other transplant surgeons at MGH are excellent I am so happy to have had my transplant when he was the surgeon on call. I had a very quick recuperation, feeling better in much shorter time than anticipated, plus my incision was not uncomfortable for long; I hear from other people that they can be for quite a while. I really feel that his skill as a surgeon is responsible for that. When I visit him for post-transplant appointments he is always so pleasant and never makes you feel rushed. He is kind, very polite, yet light-hearted also.

this Dr saved my husbands life -he transplanted my husbands first Liver which unfortunately failed after two days and transplanted the second liver 4 days later -my husband was in very critical condition and Dr Elias saw him through his touch and go recovery for several weeks at MGH - It has been 10 months and my husband is still having to take several meds which Dr Elias manages like a magician -he is extremely intelligent knowledgable an expert surgeon a humble genuinely nice compassionate human being -

I love Dr. Elias. He takes his time to thoroughly explain things. never rushing out on you. takes his time . very smart . I had my spleen taken out and would not let anyone else but him do any surgery on me. When it's time for my liver transplant. I will be having him do it for sure. I trust this guy with my life!!

He came highly recommended. He took the time to perform a lap choli on me. I couldnt have asked for better results. The office left me waiting for my follow-up, but he returned as he was leaving for lunch. Great doctor , great results

I love Dr Elias. I've ssen him for about 9 years. He is the so thorough and compassionate. He was to be my transplant surgeon. Although when the call came he wasn't on call. He was my follow up care inpatient and out. Then he removed the left side of my colon due to complication with my transplant. He is always so happy. Its contageous! I would definately recommend him.
