Dr. Najla Ametha Abdur-Rahman, MD

Dr. Abdur-Rahman is one of the best providers and her expertise is welcomed. What is not welcomed is the deplorable attitudes and nastiness of her front office staff. The women sitting at the front window do not smile, are not welcoming to the patients, and behave as if they can take you, your children, and your business...or leave them! I wanted so badly to keep my children under Dr. Abdur-Rahman's care, but to be honest, I cannot deal with the unprofessional wall that is up prior to seeing her. I truly wish something could be done!

Wait time: 2 hours. Doctor time: 6 min. Medical student time: 30 min

I loved her! The moment she said, 'May I see my baby?' I knew, there is a bond. She took enough time to explain all the progress, suggested non-medicine solutions to my baby's ailments, because I am not up for much medications. She was nice, courteous, humble. I still had to choose a different doctor because she is not around much. I had to wait hours and hours in the waiting room, which is not comfy, staffs are horrible! It's sad that such a great doctor is being rated poorly for office management. She definitely need to upgrade her staffs and office area.

I loved this office when Dr. Broome was here. Now this office is a teaching office. Everytime I go in my son saw a new doctor. The office is disgusting. I changed my son's DR to a new one. I would not recommend this office.

I would recommend her. She took great care of my son. She was always so nice and gentle so my son loved her and was not afraid of her like he is some drs and nurses. She never made us feel rushed and I always felt like I could trust her.
