Dr Awender exceeded my expectations by far. My optometrist initially referred me to an another opthalomologist. I went to Dr Awender looking for a second opinion. From the moment I interacted with her staff I could tell how well her team works together. My eyes are very sensitive and I often have trouble with eye tests. Her team was very skilled and have excellent communication skills. Dr. Awender went the extra mile to make sure the tests were accurate, to answer all my questions so I could make an informed decision on the cataract procedure and lense options and to coordinate my care with my other eye doctors. I have been recommending her to my friends and coworkers. She and her team are a great asset to Summa. .

I was a new patient with an acute issue. The provider was very thorough, informative and super nice!!!! I felt comfortable with the entire process and would definitely recommend her and the practice if ever the opportunity presented itself!!!
