Wonderful Dr. and Office staff.

Dr Thornton is a great Dermatologist. She reviewed my history, the reasons for my visit, examined me, and explained options for treatment, including side effects of the two different medicines so I could make an informed decision about which one to use. She answered all of my questions in a manner that let me know she cares about me as her patient. Thank you!

The negative reviews here were probably placed by her competition or a disgruntled employee as they have not at all representative of the many interactions I have had with Dr. Thornton over the years. Not only is she extremly competent but she regularly takes the time to make sure I understand my skin problems and her plans for treating me. She rarely has kept me waiting unlike many other doctor visits I have had. I recommend her highly!

Finally got in 30 minutes after my scheduled time to see Nancy Thornton. She rushed through everything (not my fault she has fallen behind). When I asked questions she seemed aggravated and used terms I've never heard before (maybe she assumes I'm a dermatologist also?) She threw around using the drug Acctuane like it was nothing to get started on. My acne is not that bad at all! I have a couple pimples on my chin and would like to remedy this for my wedding, butâ?¦Accutane?! Really?! Doesn't mention the possibility of birth defects, monthly blood samples and depression by using Accutane. No thanks. Maybe I caught her on a bad day because she seemed overall very flustered, not interested in me and rushed. She ended up prescribing me something I've been using in the past (total easy way out) that seems to work OK, but not exactly the answer to my problem.

I had a biopsy and she suture the area too tight and puckered my skin up . Worst suture insertion ever. Very cold and uncaring at my visit. I was very disapointed in the low quality of care and now I have to live with a big puckered up area where she biopsied. I called to ask her about calling in a Rx. that I had read about that would help my skin condition and she didn't bother to ever call me back. Stay away from this practice, they will have you leaving looking and feeling worse than when you went in.

I have been treated by several dermatologists because I've lived in different parts of the country. Dr. Thornton is one of the best at diagnosing and treating the skin ailments I have had in the past. I have recommended her to friends and they have likewise been impressed.

Dr. Thornton is a no-nonsense dermatologist who took care of four skin problem I had in about 15 minutes. The total time I spent in the doctor's office including wait time was only 30 minutes.
