Dr. Lopasic is God sent! Finally feel secure that I will receive optimal professional eye care! She is truly talented & kind!

I made an appt with Dr Lopasic last spring for my almost 9 year old. She had failed the vision screening the school nurse gives and we needed to have her eyes checked. I checked our insurance and Dr Lopasic was listed as a participating provider. When I called I simply stated I wanted a regular eye exam (which is covered in full by our insurance). The appointment itself was very long. They were very behind. We first saw a tech who gave a quick vision test and stated my daughter probably needed glasses. Then we had to wait in the hall to see the actual doctor. We had already been there for about 45 minutes at this point. We waited another 30 minutes or so in the hallway. Finally we were called back to the exam room with the dr. Her bedside manner was terrible. She rattled off a bunch of numbers to the tech/nurse who was with her. Then finally looked at me and said "she doesn't really need glasses but could get them if you want". She was so indecisive with my daughter needing glasses… and was very short with us, not really explaining what she meant by "she doesn't need them but could get them if she wanted". In my mind a doctor is the one who makes the definitive call on needing glasses or not. You don't leave that up to a child or the parent. I felt very rushed with her (after waiting 1+hours to finally see her). Dr L wanted us to follow up with the optometrist in the office 6 months later. I had already decided I wasnt going back there. The kicker came when I received a bill for $150+, though routine exams should have been covered. Apparently they put down some diagnosis code and billed it as an office visit instead of routine. Ive tried fighting the charges but the billing staff is about as helpful as the doctor was.

I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My first visit with Dr. lapsic went very well. I understood everything she said to me as she explained my future procedure. I found the location very clean which is nice at such a busy location. Staff were very nice. No issues

Dr. Lopasic really explains everything to you, she has a scribe who writes everything down for her so she can actually focus on you and not on the computer. She is honest, very intelligent and very thorough. Sometimes you have to wait for her, but there isn't anything good in life that you don't have to wait for. I routinely recommend her to friends and family.

I was sent to Dr Lopasic by my regular eye Dr. She was very thorough. Her medical staff is good, although one test was set up by a staffer who didn't pay attention and had me all off kilter for the peripheral vision test. The office staff is a whole other matter, disorganized to say the least, apologetic about being under staffed but not able to process patients quickly or competently - disappointed that a really good Dr has a half-assed staff.

Dr. Lopasic is a nice enough doctor. However extremely overbooked. I was there for over 2 hours. Very disorganized office in Troy. She did not complete an eye exam. Just did neurological testing. Office staff is rude. Would not return or recommend.

Dr. Has been very good at treating a difficult eye problem with me. Dr is the best at working with you to find a way to resolve a difficult problem.

I got referred to Dr. Lapasic from my regular eye doctor due to extreme constant double vision. She was able to diagnosis my condition was Myasthenia Travis and sent me on to another doctor in neruology to confirm her diagnosis. Very caring and understanding and took plenty of times with me.She was very confident in her diagnosis.
