Dr. Nathaniel Carter, MD

Dr. Nathaniel Carter did absolutely nothing for me in regards to my injuries and treatment. I saw him a handful of times to get a second opinion and he would just agree with my first neurologist diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, etc. He had absolutely nothing new to offer. Office visits were rushed consisting of a few general routine checks and then would type on his computer our conversation detailing issues from the last visit. Charging my lawyer for copying fees that were ridiculously high of my medical chart/record was unprofessional and in violation of HIPPA HITECH ACT. He even over charged me (full price) for a copy of my own chart. Then he denies it because he states he is not computerized, when in fact he is. When I brought it to his attention in how doctors keep patient information classified (using computers), you have to be linked to the states URL board/confidentiality that they get discounted for, his tone changed and became angry. After reviewing my medical… chart containing 2 years’ worth of office visits, they were filled with medical errors and mistakes that needed to be amended before the deposition. After requesting an amendment with giving the correct information, he refused in amending my chart and would not state the reason, which is also a violation of HIPAA, and last straw in terminating our physician-patient treatment. I do not recommend.

Dr carter is a very caring dr. He is doing everything he can to help my with his severe headaches. I highly recommend him

I am an African-American physician and Nathaniel (I can't even call this guy Dr) asked me what I was doing Friday night with this God-awful grin....he then told me "You have some nice back."

Delayed my diagnosis, can’t remember what you told him from one appointment to the next, nor your prescription medications. Dr Carter listed Xanax as a prescription I was taking and forwarded it to my other doctors as part of my permanent medical record. I’m a nurse in the open-heart operating room (18 years) and can’t have such a medication. I’ve never been prescribed or taken Xanax (benzodiazepine with sedative qualities). Furthermore, his bedside manner is awful - he’s rough, arrogant and he regularly makes sexist comments. Save your time and money, steer clear of this one!

Did not fully understand the condition I suffered, gave unnecessary medication which ultimately lead to severe withdrawals as I tried to wean off it.

To his credit, he told me that I should not shake his hand "because I have dudu on it."

Dont waste your time. He took thirty minutes asking the same questions about health history. He then ran through eye tests so fasts my mom could not keep up. At the end their was no conclusion. He seemed like he was their to just waste time. Not even sure if he is a real doctor on how he portrayed himself.

Huge waste of time, effort and money. Unimpressed with office, and doctor's interest in my case. Unable to provide any guidance nor insight into my challenges .

dirty clothes, doesn't rmember what meds patient is taking, performs tests that won't work due to meds patient is on, stained office furniture, this man is horrible
