He literally told me to go to the hospital and lie about wanting to hurt myself to get a social worker because he didn't know any other way. Also, the same drug rep was in the office during both of my appointments and then he tried to prescribe her companys drugs.

Dr. Kahn is easy to talk to; his relaxed manner put me at ease right away. He always seems to take as much time as is needed, and I feel I'm in good hands with him. I like him, I trust him, and I would definitely recommend him.

Please do some research and try to find a good doctor for your treatment. Dr. Kahn basically has patients in and out like livestock, and has possibly the worst bedside manner and professional behavior of any of the doctors I have ever seen. He also points his patients into taking lots of medications (and samples), much of which he does not do a comprehensive job of follow-ups with his patients. So, please do some research to find a better Psychiatrist.

I have been going to Dr. Kahn for many years and find he care that my problem with lifelong depression stays under control. I can not relate to the person who said he was in it for the money. I find myself at time frustrated, but if I follow his advice and am honest with him I keep doing well.

This doctor is so busy he doesnt take the time to know the patient. My daughter was admitted for attempted suicide and he release her without an evaluation or a diagnosis. I suspect she has been bipolar for a number of years and her didnt even discuss with the family. He just signed her out of the hospital to her family physician who perscribed the wrong meds to begin with.

I can't imagine a more caring, competent clinician. He saved my life. As for the greed comment, he donates time to the community in the monthly bipolar forum at the hospital. The person who said he was a quack must be crazy, which is possible, I suppose, since he is a shrink.

Mocking manner. No consistent treatment plan. Gave sample drugs with bad side effects with no follow up. Do not go to this doctor!
