Dr. Maki is a very nice and caring Dr. He has treated me with respect. And he knows what he is doing. And the best part also is he's a huge Saints fan like me!!! Lol. And his staff I love their love and caring they they have given me.

I visited his clinic only to walk away feeling demeaned and belittled. Not a good start to a working relationship!

Dr. Neil J Maki is as dirty and dishonest as they come. Do not trust this man with your health in any way.

POOR bedside manner, did not like or appreciate the way I was treated at all. When the nurse started to set of my surgery, I asked was he having a bad day. She asked why and I explained he was so rude. She said maybe I needed to talk to him again and I did. I still did not let him do my surgery!! Talking to him a second time was NO BETTER. I only gave him one star, as I had to so I could comment. He doesn't deserve the one. I went with another orthopedic surgeon in Thibodaux, and loved him!! His last name started with an M too.

He has no problem refusing to see you anymore after diagnosis. even though the treatment must continue, he doesn't care or help.
